Welcome back to this week’s edition of Floss Friday. It is actually Thursday but will be posting tomorrow. I will be on the road (I5) from San Jose, CA to Seattle, WA tomorrow. Average driving time is 14 hours. So I thought I would prep the blog today to post tomorrow. Here we go!

Not sure if it is snow in the mountains because it is a warm rain here. So I am enjoying it. February historically is our coldest and wettest month of the year. Will it be this year?

Continue reading “Floss Friday #74”How is your January going? We have had a lot of rain here in San Jose, California but today is absolutely beautiful and sunny. Makes me think about going to see the elephant seals at Ano Nuevo. We will see how the next few days play out.
I have spent more time quilting then stitching this week so I don’t have as much to share. Yet, I feel pretty good about what I have gotten done.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #73”Hello from Whistler, British Columbia! We got here a few days ago. The kids have gone skiing even though it is raining here at the base. The temperature is hovering around freezing which hopefully translates to great snow up top. We had homemade pasta with veggies yesterday for dinner.
The kids didn’t ski much yesterday but ended up working on a 1000 piece puzzle which they finished!

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #73”I had myself a mini marathon this past holiday weekend to work on all the projects I had not worked on. I only meant to work on those for the whole weekend, but couldn’t resist working on my fall projects. I had already put away Fall Harvest (see last week’s blog here to look at) and Autumn Beauties which somehow I haven’t worked on since October.
The good news is that they are the only two WIPs for fall being put on hold and next year I get to start new ones!
Continue reading “Floss Friday #67”Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I am very grateful to have been able to spend the day with my sister Dorothy and her family. I dropped Shaun off at hockey camp. His mom helped the other parents prepare breakfast for the team and their families. It was a bonding moment for them. Then off to the family dinner at his Aunt Diane’s where his dad joined them. He said they had a great time. So happy for them.
