Welcome my Stitchy Friends! It has been a busy full week and I can’t wait to share with you.
Just one this week.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #188”Welcome back my Stitchy Friends! Should be a quick update. I havenot worked on alot of projects this week. So let’s get to it.
I have a few to share with you.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #187”Welcome back my stitchy friends! How is the last day of spring been for you? We have overall had a very mild spring with days in the 50s and days in the 80s. Some rain and some sunshine. Perfect spring weather. Right now we are in a rainy phase. This morning when I got up it was pouring cats and dogs. This afternoon I see peeks of blue skies between the white fluffy clouds and the grey stormy clouds. Wait five minutes and it could change!
I am happy to say I finished both of my May WIPGO goals and made some progress on those old April and January goals.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #183”Welcome back my stitchy friends! Wow! It has been an eventful two weeks. I had the cross stitch retreat hosted by 141 Design Company and travel home. I would love to tell you that I got a ton of stitching. Well… I talked more than I stitched. LOL! Of course isn’t that what retreats are for. Let’s take a look at my weeks.
No finishes this last two weeks but I do have to new starts. I hope to finish one more project and start another. Keep your fingers crossed.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #182”Welcome back to Floss Friday where I share my cross stitch projects. It has been another busy week with life happening left and right. I ended up missing getting any quilting done (until today) as well as missing my To Do Tuesday blog. #sigh. I had nothing to share. Days went fast and before I knew it, it was evening. Still needed to cook and eat dinner, so even my stitching time was abbreviated. I did work on projects.
Let’s start with a WIPGO update.

April was a WIPGO heavy month but short on time to complete those goals.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #179”Hello Stitchy Friends! It has been another busy week. How about you? Lots of appointments and I have two online classes that are keeping me busy! I was thrilled to almost finish my to do list for this week! Let’s check out the cross stitch projects for the past week.
No new starts or finishes this week.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #174”Hello my Stitchy Friends! Welcome back to this week’s update. We have a little more variety this week so it should be fun!
No new finishes this week but I do have one new start which I was excited to work on.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #166”Welcome to 2026! I finished off December 31st trying to make it through my December goal list. Unfortunately, while I worked on EVERY project left, I did NOT make my goals. So I focused on my December WIPGO projects as that is the whole reason to have WIPGO projects. Total win there!
I thought about doing a post for 2025 ending / 2026 beginning WIPs but decided that instead I would create a page for it instead. You can visit the page anytime view the top menu. I did mention I was going to shake things up this year right?
Continue reading “Floss Friday #163”Hello Everyone! It has been a busy week here. I have been working on kitting and prepping all of my fall new starts. I have a crazy process.
First I decide on them. Next I pull threads. If it is a “purchased” kit, I check my floss inventory for used skeins. I update my Excel sheet (Floss Inventory) for number of skeins in the kit and my actual inventory numbers. This why if I have a little kit for something, I know where I can temporarily pull floss from if I need to or borrow until I order some online. I really like how it has been working these past couple of years.
Once that is done, I make sure I have fabric in the kit. Afterwards, I go to the sewing studio to prep the fabric (zigzag the edges). This has been done for all but one of my fall projects this week.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #157”It sure was a busy September. I was on the road a lot, so I missed quite a few Fridays. I had a great time at the Quilt Retreat at Zephyr Cove on Lake Tahoe. I shared a little more in the To Do Tuesday #156 post.
The latest trip took me to Redmond/Bend, Oregon for a long arm training with Gammill as well as a shop hop one day. Learned a lot and met a lot of great people. The teachers were fantastic! I can’t wait until next year to do it again when I have more experience with my retrofited Statler.
