Quilting, Cross Stitch & Travel Adventures
Gorgeous sunny day here in the Pacific Northwest. I was outside enjoying some of that sunshine with the cats who were cracking me up.
Went for a walk in the neighborhood today. First thing that happened was being greeted when I walked out the front door by two birds. It took me a minute to figure out they were chattering at me because I was standing by their nest.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #178”Not much to report this week. I was only home a couple days since I last posted and one of those was spent at the Portland Quilt Festival. I packed up and headed to Bend, Oregon for a long weekend. I walked a 5k race called Salmon Run while my daughter ran a half marathon and her husband Jannes ran a 10k. It was fun to hang out with them. We absolutely gorgeous weather.
It has been two weeks since I posted. Check out my quilting post for all the fun I had at the quilt retreat here.
I was very optomistic about how much cross stitching I would get done. Surprise! Yet I still managed to get a wee bit of stitching from time to time. I did take one of my WIPGO projects.
There were a lot of down days this past two weeks. I would like to say they were all while I was at the quilt retreat but that would be a fib. Yet I was able to finish one of my projects.
