It has been two weeks since I posted. Check out my quilting post for all the fun I had at the quilt retreat here.
I was very optomistic about how much cross stitching I would get done. Surprise! Yet I still managed to get a wee bit of stitching from time to time. I did take one of my WIPGO projects.
Starts & Finishes
There were a lot of down days this past two weeks. I would like to say they were all while I was at the quilt retreat but that would be a fib. Yet I was able to finish one of my projects.
FINISH: March WIPGO Project #4: Mr. Postman by Cottage Garden Samplings

It felt so good to finish my fourth of this series – Snowman Collectors. It was quite fun to work on this guy. All those mailboxes and the cardinal…. How about that bike? Can’t wait to start the next one.
WIP Updates
Let’s check out the projects that I have worked on so far this month.
Spring Stitching Season by Stitching with the Housewives

I have been plugging away at this one. Might just finish this one next month. Maybe. It is so much fun stitching on spring things. It really gets you in the mood for Spring.
April WIPGO Project #14: Fruit of Plenty by Modern Folk Embroidery

I am on the last page of this 2021 SAL. Wow! That means one more motif and the reverse large border with a few triangle motifs. Still have more stitches to do to reach my WIPGO goal for this month.
March Month 2 Month Barn by Stitching with the Housewives

Had an opportunity to work on this one as well. I finished up the barn and started on the flowers.
Fabulous House: The Castle by Cottage Garden Samplings

Started on the bottom portion of the castle. I even filled in most of the top portion of the castle main. Such a fun pattern
Fieldguide to Dragons by Climbing Goat Designs

Finished up the green dragon this week. He loks pretty cool shooting flames at the blue dragon.
Ocean Wonders SAL by Climbing Goat Designs

Only had time for a few 100 stitches. Almost finished the osprey. I might have done more if I hadn’t forgot that it was one strand with a 28 needle since I am using 20 ct aida. I stitched a little before realizing my oops. Unstitched and then restitched after searching for my #28 needles.
Plans & Reflections
I am away for the weekend in Bend, Oregon with my daughter for a 5k while my daughter is doing a half marathon. Then I have a clear week of stitching. I am thinking I will work on the following:
- Crescent City Velaris
- Shabby Winter Calendar
- 2026 Vancouver Solar System
- Sweets for Santa
- Mr April
- 2025 SJ Moon Phases
That should keep me busy this week. Hope you have a great weekend. Thank you for stopping by.
