Welcome back my quilty friends. I apologize for missing last week’s post. The week got away from me as real life interfered. Part of that real life was not one but TWO quilt zoom days. I am excited to share what I worked on with you!
But first – I am planning on linking up with Carol over at Quilt Schmilt this week for the To Do Tuesday. As always, I invite you to visit and see what everyone is working on. Better yet, join us.

WIP Updates
So excited that I had one full quilt zoom day with my friends from California. We haven’t meet since one of our group passed away. We finally got together and did a lot of remembering as well as sewing.
The next day I joined in my new guild’s Sit and Sew Friday Quilt Zoom. I only got to spend the afternoon although it is from 10am to 11pm. I had a goal for the afternoon and hit that goal!
Abby Rose Churn Dash blocks

I continue using this quilt blocks as my leaders and enders. With so much quilting time this week, I finished two and started a third block. Sweet!
Autumn Seed Quilt by Lori Holt (Bee in My Bonnet)

Can you believe I have already finished the sixth of the nine pumpkins? Me neither. This one is very interesting. I like how Lori placed the colors.
Bring Home the Christmas Tree Quilt blocks by Lori Holt (Bee in My Bonnet)

Finished my last car block I needed for this quilt! So now I have finished all the blocks necessary. This quilt needs 6 car blocks and 4 tree blocks.

I have some crazy color for this Christmas quilt. I used mostly Alison Glass christmas collection from 2019 with a few fillers thrown in plus my trees were just using all the green scraps I could find. I made them first so back then I didn’t have a lot of green scraps. So the trees are wild!

Don’t know where the fourth tree block is. Next step will be to assemble the quilt. Saving that for June.
Stars Aligned – A Strip Club Pattern

I finished piecing the pieced borders from the star cutoffs. Now it is deciding how I am going to put together the pieces. Right now I am thinking the sides will have a single strip filled out with … cream maybe. I don’t have anymore of the original background fabric but I found some close matches. The top and bottom borders are shorter so instead of one long continuous piece, I am thinking of combining them stacked. If you have a favorite, let me know!
2026 Monthly Color Challenge by Patterns by Jen

One of my side trips was to the cutting room to pull fabric one day and the next time cutting the fabric for this monthly block. Once again I am using Alison Glass fabrics from my stash.

Happy Mail
Got a few things in the mail this past two weeks that I want to share with you.
The Whole Country Caboodle Be Kind Pillow Wrap & Cover Kit for June

I could not resist signing up with Shabby Fabrics for this pillow series by The Whole Country Caboodle. I thought this would be a nice addition to the new living room furniture. I hope to start this month. The kit included everything to make the pillow Cover and Pillow Wrap. I just need to supply the pillow.
Sweetwater Co Quarterly Ink Project

Today I received my Quarterly INK from Sweetwater Co. I have yet to make any of the projects but sure feeling like I would love to make all three of these. I am definitely in a patriotic mood and these are some pretty simple projects.
Tula Pink Floral Reef Super Nova English Paper Piecing project from Pink Door Fabrics

This package arrived as I was leaving for the airport last week. With great restraint, I set it in the garage to be opened when I got home. This is probably one of the most ambitious EPP projects I have done but I love how Pink Door writes instructions. The actual instructions were not written by them, BUT they provide super detailed cutting instructions for this project. I got the whole kit and caboodle. Papers, templates, fabric, and a few more glue sticks and thread. I pored over it yesterday for a couple of hours. Today I bundled it up in its new container home. I am looking forward to cutting the center medallion. I even rewatched Tula’s you tube videos on Fat Quarter Shop’s channel to see her recommendations for cutting. Extremely helpful. This may kick off my EPP streak.
Pink Door Box – Tula Pink Floral Reef 1 yard bundle box

This box came before I left. I forgot I ordered it so now I have two one yard bundles of Floral Reef. Good thing I love this collection! So many goodies. As you can see not only did I receive one yard of each fabric in the collection but also six coordinating solids, playing cards with gradient color suits, patterns, swatches, zippers, webbing, pin, ribbon, labels, scissors, and binding tools. Where to start?
Delivered Today: Bernina 990, Cabinet, & Laura Star Iron with mobile station

Since I have been gone, I did not have time to rearrange the sewing room as I have it imagined in my head. I told the guys to just roll it in. The new cabinet is just as fancy as the sewing machine. It has a place to store the embroidery module and the hoops! There are drawers and lots of table extensions. I didn’t realize they now have electric machine lifts so it fits exactly in the cabinet. Can’t wait to get it setup and plugged in. My machine class isn’t until July but luckily I attended a special two day class back in April.
Musings
I don’t think I have a lot of other words for this week. I just got back from a cross stitch retreat and am getting ready to jump on a Cross Stitch Zoom for a couple of hours.
I am happy to be home. Friday I will share more about the retreat and all the goodies I got there (and there is a LOT). New Friends I made. So for now, I will say goodbye until Friday.
Thanks again for stopping by!
