Welcome back my Quilty Friends! Still totally enamored with the World Cup. Our Northern neighbor, Canada, did fantastic with advancement to Round of 16. I have on our Southern neighbor, Mexico, on while I work on this blog. So exciting. I wanted to get in a little more time on my projects this last day of June. I had a goal of finishing 10 blocks this month which I managed to do. Surprise!

Intentions to link up with Carol @ Quilt Schmilt again this week. Thanks Carol for continuing to provide this linkup. Be sure to check out the link if you want some inspiration.

To Do Tuesday #186

Hello my Quilty Friends! Hope you are enjoying the summer and World Cup. Here in the PNW, we are currently experiencing another short heat wave before cooler weather and rain.

It has been exciting to follow the World Cup. Tomorrow the final group stage games start. I am hoping our Northern Neighbors can win their group, but even if they don’t they will move onto the Round of 32 knockout stage. So much fun watching all the big stars playing with my favorite being Messi. Such a humble man.

I am planning on linking up with Carol Schmilt @ Quilt Schmilt in British Columbia for another week of To Do Tuesday. Overall I feel pretty good about what I accomplished

To Do Tuesday #182

Welcome back my quilty friends. I hope everyone in US enjoyed the Memorial Day weekend. Here in the PNW it was a beautiful weekend. Well until Monday when we had the normal rain. My daughter was off camping with her husband of one year. Hard to believe they have been married a year. I hand the grand fur babies to keep an eye on. Since they are cats, they are easy. They greeted me with lots of love even though they prefer mom and dad.

While I had all these great plans to sew this weekend, I ended up spending the weekend reading. I finished 3 books over four days. I am almost caught up with my reading goal of 2026. I want to read/listen to 100 books this year. Before I started my weekend, I had TWO quilt zooms on Friday! I also spent most of Monday english paper piecing. So excited to share the results with you.

But first – I am planning on linking up with Carol over at Quilt Schmilt this week for the To Do Tuesday. As always, I invite you to visit and see what everyone is working on. Better yet, join us.

I was having so much fun at the quilt retreat, I could not tear myself away from my sewing machine to write last week’s blog. So that means you will be bombarded with all that got done in a 6 day retreat (4 full days).

Yes. I will be linking up with Carol at Quilt Schmilt for this week’s To Do Tuesday linkup.

July just flew by! I can believe how quickly it went. I didn’t feel like I was gone that much but in reality I was gone for half the month. My biggest trip being to Utah for the Gammill Summit for long armers. It was awesome to meet so many people. My creative juices are just flying. So much inspiration!

Today is my daughter Caitlin’s 28th birthday! How quickly time flies!
