I was having so much fun at the quilt retreat, I could not tear myself away from my sewing machine to write last week’s blog. So that means you will be bombarded with all that got done in a 6 day retreat (4 full days).

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #178”I was in the studio a few times this week. Sewing only happened on one of those days. LOL! I am still enjoying my time in the studio now that I have brand new lighting! So very nice.

Welcome back my Quilty friends! Oh my goodness. The Electrician was here this past week installing more lights in the sewing studio. He only got a third done and I can’t believe how much better I can see. Can’t wait until they finish all of it this week! Let there be LIGHT!💡 Also switching out halogen for led as well as yellow for white. So much brighter. I did not even realize how much I have been straining my eyes. So very nice! Okay, let’s talk quilting.

It is here. ☔️. The rain has arrived here in the Pacific Northwest. We even had a little sleet yesterday. They said it would snow. I couldn’t see how that would happen. It is just not cold enough. The cool thing about the rain here is the sun often peeks out through out the day. 🌦️ So cool. I even seen the most amazing rainbows🌈

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #166”Welcome back my quilty friends! Hard to believe Christmas is upon us. I am looking forward to spending time with my daughter. We have lived in different states for over 10 years. Now we are in the same town. I feel like I hardly see her because we are both living our best lives. LOL! Being so close now, we don’t make the time to spend with each other like we did when we lived 3500+ miles apart. I am sure you can relate as well.
I started a new thing since we lasted chatted. I have made a mindful decision to go UPSTAIRS to my sewing studio at least once a day for at least 15 minutes. I have also told myself, I don’t have to sew if I don’t want to but I NEED to visit the studio.
