Welcome back to my quilty blog! This week was only slow stitching and prep time so let’s get to it!

WIP Update
Only the one this week!
Super Nova by Tula Pink; Floral Reef Colorway by Pink Door Fabrics

I finally finished cutting ALL 131 pieces for this first (center medallion) block. I started the first round before I finished cutting. While I was watching MidSummer Stitch and the World Cup on Saturday, I finished round 2 and attached round 3.

As you can see from the block instruction papers. After I finish all the seams on round 3, I will need to make 10 stars of the rainbow. When cutting, I numbered them in the order they will be attached. I am thinking I will add one black diamond to each star before I begin attaching round 4. Then I will have round 5 of black pentagons. Finishing off with the two different stripes shapes for round 6.
It took me almost 4 days to cut and glue all the shapes for Month 1 with this block taking 2 1/2 days. And those were like 6 hour days. I think the slow stitching will go quicker. Generally I set a goal of 15 – 30 minutes each time I work on my EPP.

Musings

I want to get back to working on my 365 block challenge that I started in 2018. I love the colors and I am in September I think. I don’t know. I have to check my project container (very big project container)
I don’t seem to have enough hours in the day to do everything I want!
Have a great week and good luck on your projects!!!!
