Hello my Quilty Friends!
Welcome back. I have had a good quilting week. I really feel great about what I worked on this past week. I started this blog on Tuesday but then my day went crazy so it is actually being posted on Wednesday.
I will be linking up with Carol @ Quilt Schmilt for To Do Tuesday. Check it out with the link below which takes you to her home bag. Select Blog and you should see the blog for this week’s linkup.

Thank you to our Canadian friend for hosting this link up! Love looking over the projects everyone is working on.
Happy Mail
No pictures but I couldn’t wait to share that I received the long awaited Legendary fabric and a quilt kit using the new Tula Pink fabric. I also ordered (and received) more Alison Glass fabric both her Jinny Collection and her Shadows collection. I threw in a request of 2 more yards of Nocturnal to use in my Alison Glass Color Study quilt. So much fabric to pet!!!!
WIP Updates
I am working from the coffee shop but forgot my glasses so excuse any typos. Hopefully the word processor will find them before I publish.
Great week in the sewing room with two Sit and Sew Days and some extra time in the studio earlier in the week. Let’s take a look.
Starbright Paisleys: A Cozy Quilts Strip Club Pattern

Finished the last of the four patches!!! Now I am just wrapping up Round 2 as seen on the right. Then it will be time to move on to the next step for this leaders and enders project
Harvest Moon Shop Hop

Finished one more block in this nine block series. I decided to put mine together than suggested. I like the square in a square look that I got. You can see the recommended assembly above my finished block.
Tula Pink Fade To Gray

I have finished the medium light blocks and I think they turned out fabulously! So I went ahead and finished sewing all my strip sets and cut my twosies. I was able to assemble the two short sides for all my medium blocks.

I was excited to finally get to use the Polar Bear. I may have to redo my seals. I am not sure they are rotated in the right direction. I will have to check the other seals. Next step is to start sewing the twosies for the long sides of the block. It is hard to believe that I am one third of the way done with the quilt blocks already. It is such a cute quilt!

I will start sewing the next group of strip sets which is the dark medium. 🥰
Alison Glass Color Study QAL

I didn’t like the cutting instructions for this block. There was zero room for error and of course I always make errors so my points are not perfect. Regardless, I am loving the colors and the patterns of the fabric. Now that I got the black fabric, I will go back and make dark blocks 1, 2, & 3. I have printed out blocks 4 & 5.
Tula Pink Super Nova English Paper Piecing from Pink Door Fabrics

I got some time this week on making more stars and attaching them to this round. I have a pretty good system now and have not had to break thread until I run out. That has been nice. Also received in the mail Month 7 fabric. Yes I am still on month 1. Have you heard that english paper piecing is slow stitching?

Just refreshing myself what this project is. Block 1-1 is the center of the quilt is probably the largest single block. I am currently still assembling my stars while working them in this round. When I finish the stars the next two rounds should go fairly quickly. I am even debating making sub units iwth the two pentagons and the black and white striped piece. Then I could assemble them continuously like I am with the stars (now that I have my rhythm). I believe everything will go much faster once this monster of a block is finished!
Teal Freelancer Star Wedge Quilt by Studio 180

I got back to this quilt project from my Guild’s workshop in August. It kind of got buried under all the projects I have been working on. I re-discovered it and reviewed the pattern instructions. I love these batiks. So very pretty.
Weekly To Do List

I have time to make one or two more blocks before the guild meeting. I am not particularly enamored with how this block looks. I really feel it needs more contrast so I have been thinking on how to add that. It is a great opportunity to use up more green which is overflowing.

Musings

I swear the list of possibilities just grows and I am jonesing to start the two new quilt kits I got (one Tula Pink Legendary and the other Nancy Rink Color Compass quilt). So far I have restrained myself because I feel like I really need to organize my WIPS as mentioned last week as well as getting the kits out of sight so I am not tempted every day because I am staring at it.
On top of that I desperately need to quilt some finished tops to remove them from my space as well. I have a secret goal to finish 12 quilts by Christmas and have them under the tree for friends and family to pick from. With it just being the beginning of November, this is still a real possibility. I have to get the flow going………
Thank you all for stopping by and checking out my projects and listening to me ramble on. Have a great day!

Your Fade to Gray blocks are awesome. I drool over your EPP Super Nova progress every time you post about it!
