Welcome back to this week’s edition of Floss Friday. It is actually Thursday but will be posting tomorrow. I will be on the road (I5) from San Jose, CA to Seattle, WA tomorrow. Average driving time is 14 hours. So I thought I would prep the blog today to post tomorrow. Here we go!

Not sure if it is snow in the mountains because it is a warm rain here. So I am enjoying it. February historically is our coldest and wettest month of the year. Will it be this year?
Continue reading “Floss Friday #76”I got back last night from Gardnerville, NV. Never thought I would be the one thinking that Nevada was beautiful. The valley is just gorgeous surronded by mountains. I had blue skies coming and going. Yesterday had a lot of snow from the day before, but still a gorgeous day. Let’s jump into this week’s progress.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #75”How is your January going? We have had a lot of rain here in San Jose, California but today is absolutely beautiful and sunny. Makes me think about going to see the elephant seals at Ano Nuevo. We will see how the next few days play out.
I have spent more time quilting then stitching this week so I don’t have as much to share. Yet, I feel pretty good about what I have gotten done.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #71”I had myself a mini marathon this past holiday weekend to work on all the projects I had not worked on. I only meant to work on those for the whole weekend, but couldn’t resist working on my fall projects. I had already put away Fall Harvest (see last week’s blog here to look at) and Autumn Beauties which somehow I haven’t worked on since October.
The good news is that they are the only two WIPs for fall being put on hold and next year I get to start new ones!

Friday was my new start day. Saturday was a Fall/Halloween stitch day which left Sunday as my everything else day. Let’s take a look.
