Welcome my Stitchy Friends! It has been a pretty good week. Still busy but found some stitching time. I just want to share with you everything. But first ✋🏼 Let’s take a look at the results of last month’s WIPGO.
July 2026 WIPGO Results
Project 9: Winter Stitching Season by Stitching with the Housewives
My goal for July was to put 2000 stitches into this project. I got halfway with 1085. I finished the center house, the word “WINTER”, and snowflakes above the house. I even started the house on the right. Not bad. I plan to finish the last 915 stitches into August. (See below for that progress).
Project 17: Oakly Acorns by Robin Pickens
My goal for July was 2000 stitches for this project as well. I am feeling super accomplished with this one even though I did just over 50% of goal with 1233 leaving m 767 to finish in August. Even better progress with this one in my first week of August. (See below)

WIP Updates
I have made some progress on my old WIPGO goals. Hopefully I can check some boxes off this month.
JUN WIPGO Project 21: April Month 2 Month Barn by Stitching with the Housewives
I finished up the last 148 stitches for this June WIPGO project and did some more. In July I got the beginning of “April” stitched with a daffodil (I was desperate for color!). With that same urge to work with color, I started on the barn and could not put my needle down. I ended up working on it for two nights. Love where this is going!
JUL WIPGO Project 9: Winter Stitching Season by Stitching with the Housewives
I had a good night on this project. I have a large portion of the right house done and decided to start the bottom border. I stitched just over 300 stitches this week and still have over 600 left to do. I want to get this one out of the way so I can go back to stitching on the Summer Stitching Season.
JUL WIPGO Project 7: Oakly Acorns by Robin Pickens
I rolled on into working on this WIPGO project as well. When I am done with my goal, this project will stick around for the fall line up. This week I finished the acorns leaving me just over 350 stitches to the goal.
JAN WIPGO Project 2: Shabby Winter Calendar by Cuore e Batticuore
This 2020 project is close to be complete. This is not in my Mark R-XP program and tend to pass on it when I am pressed for time. This week I fought the urge and then wondered why it wasn’t a top priority. I only have a tree, snow, bird, a few more snowflakes, and the words December 21 left! Soooo close. I want to get this off my stitching list and onto my To Be FFOd list.
Happy Mail
Just got one thing in the mail this week and I didn’t do any shopping (thank goodness!)
When I signed up for this club, I did not realize that I would be getting floss and a chart to make my needleminder in fabric as well. The kit includes instructions for embroidery or cross stitch. They are small projects around 50×50. I just need to scan the charts into my program. I am guessing it would only take one or two nights to stitch.
Plans & Reflections
My plans are still pretty ambiguous this month. I have not made a serious plan other than listing my active projects. One of my goals for this next week will to flesh out the rest of August.
