To Do Tuesday #68
Happy Halloween Everyone! Hope you had a very productive week. Me not so much. I had two sewing machines in the shop as well as my truck. I felt very disconnected all week although I had plenty of hand work or long arm work to do. Just not in the groove for the week. LOL! Why do we always want to use what we don’t have?

Hi Everyone! I have not been feeling very quilty for a while. Sigh. I know it has to do with the fact that I have never been a monogamouswoman when it comes to my projects whether it be work or play. I blame my ADHD on my inability to stay with one project. Through July and August I saw myself slowly losing interest and momentum. So after a two week hiatus, this week I got back on track and do MY thing which is working on mutliple things at once.
I want you to know I admire those persons who can pick a project and work on it day after day until it is finished. You are amazing people and you blow me away.

Hello my friends! How time has flown since we last chatted. Last week was spent in Garderville and Reno, Nevada with my quilty friends Mary Elizabeth, Toni, and Teri. We had a great time shopping, eating, and just spending time together. We spent a day at the Reno Quilt Festival which was fun. The show was bigger than I expected and I spent way more money than planned. Saw lots of new vendors and some gorgeous quilts.

I was feeling a little under the weather a couple of weeks ago. Not actually sick, just not myself which lead to a lot of lazy days reading instead of quilting. But Monday found me back on track and ready to go! So last week ended up being fairly productive. I am splitting my time with my new online course Pattern Surface Design and quilting.

The week just seemed to fly by. We had another atmospheric river storm that started today along with high winds. Thursday was a race ahead of the last storm to Southern California while Sunday was a beautiful day in So Cal, we drove into another storm here in San Jose. Lots and lots of rain this spring. The reservoirs I drove past were starting to hit capacity so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it helps with the drought we have been in.

We have come storming into March here in San Jose, California. We are still having record temperature lows (for us) and storms are rolling in and out of the area every few days. I can only hope that the government is actually keeping the water unlike last time this happened. They let all the water out of the reservoirs due to the fear of flooding and we ended up being in a drought despite the fact we had record waterfall for the year. It has even hailed here multiple times. It is kind of cool to see us surrounded by snow topped hills. Snowfall was as low as 500 feet here. For those of you who are from places with real winters, you are probably laughing at me (I know I would). One of the reasons I love the Bay Area is the fact I get to drive to snow when I want it. I do not want it falling whenever it decides. LOL!

Hello Everyone! It is the last day of February and March is around the corner. It is raining here. We need the rain here in California to fight the drought. It was cool to see our local hills covered in snow. Snow came down to 500 feet above sea level. We have had a rainy cold February. I am ready for it to move on.
