Made it safely to Seattle and thought I would whip out my blog before we head out to Canada on Wednesday. As is normal in Seattle, it is raining but temperatures are mild.

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #66”Hi Everyone! Hope you are having a fantastic October so far this month. This week is PIQF here in Northern California. So excited to see everyone and check out the vendors this year. I also signed up for a few classes starting on Thursday. I decided to take class from two of our local quilters this year and am so excited to meet them. It should be fun!

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #56”Happy 4th of July! The heatwave in San Jose finally broke and we will be having a cool day of only 84 F here. It’s a relief after the 100 degree temperatures we had over the past week. I am not complaining because I know that we have a “dry” heat here compared to other parts of the country. At least when I step outside the house, I am not soaking wet immediately due to the humidity. I am truly grateful for that.

Hello my friends! How time has flown since we last chatted. Last week was spent in Garderville and Reno, Nevada with my quilty friends Mary Elizabeth, Toni, and Teri. We had a great time shopping, eating, and just spending time together. We spent a day at the Reno Quilt Festival which was fun. The show was bigger than I expected and I spent way more money than planned. Saw lots of new vendors and some gorgeous quilts.

Not sure if that is because I was productive or that my life feels in chaos with the contractors in and out on an unknown schedule. They are finally back today after finishing the preliminary work on the shower. Wednesday they are scheduled to start retiling the shower! Yea! Sharing a bathroom with a 15 year old teenage boy is not fun. Habits are … well let’s just say, I am use to cleaner sinks, etc.
