Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #73”Welcome to November my stitchy friends! Crazy to think that 2023 is quickly coming to a close. I got hooked on a new book series and have been staring at my e-reader for hours on end. I might have missed a few stitching nights because of it. LOL!!

I felt very disconnected all week although I had plenty of hand work or long arm work to do. Just not in the groove for the week. LOL! Why do we always want to use what we don’t have?

So excited to see everyone and check out the vendors this year. I also signed up for a few classes starting on Thursday. I decided to take class from two of our local quilters this year and am so excited to meet them. It should be fun!

I had hoped to go for a hike today, but I am going to have to pass as it is way to hot for that. Instead I will end up going for a night walk when it cools off later. I am looking forward to it.

Hello my Friends! Hope this Tuesday finds you well. We have slipped into fall one of my favorite times of the year. Indian summer is so much better than almost any time of the year for me. The sun is shining. It is usually high 70’s here in San Jose. Days are still long enough. Just love this time of year!
I got back from Denver Sunday. The weather was fair while we were there but Thursday our flight was delayed due to thunderstorms. Travel is still such a mess post-covid. I was lucky enough to still get my rental car even after my flight was delayed. Some people had to wait for two or three hours for a vehicle. I felt lucky we got to the hotel by 2am. We had to be at the rink by 7am and it was a 30 minute drive. We survived. LOL! Teenagers are so reslilent.
Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #62”Hi Everyone! I have not been feeling very quilty for a while. Sigh. I know it has to do with the fact that I have never been a monogamouswoman when it comes to my projects whether it be work or play. I blame my ADHD on my inability to stay with one project. Through July and August I saw myself slowly losing interest and momentum. So after a two week hiatus, this week I got back on track and do MY thing which is working on mutliple things at once.
I want you to know I admire those persons who can pick a project and work on it day after day until it is finished. You are amazing people and you blow me away.
