To Do Tuesday #62

Hello my Friends! Hope this Tuesday finds you well. We have slipped into fall one of my favorite times of the year. Indian summer is so much better than almost any time of the year for me. The sun is shining. It is usually high 70’s here in San Jose. Days are still long enough. Just love this time of year!

I got back from Denver Sunday. The weather was fair while we were there but Thursday our flight was delayed due to thunderstorms. Travel is still such a mess post-covid. I was lucky enough to still get my rental car even after my flight was delayed. Some people had to wait for two or three hours for a vehicle. I felt lucky we got to the hotel by 2am. We had to be at the rink by 7am and it was a 30 minute drive. We survived. LOL! Teenagers are so reslilent.

I will be linking up with Carol @ QuiltSchmilt again today.

Afterthoughts

Nala in a fabric bin on the shelf

Once I stopped trying to keep up with the daily block for 100 days, my joy of quilting has returned as is my energy to work on things. I just love having variety.

Above is Nala being in her happy place – a fabric bin in my Ikea cubicles. She stayed there while I was working on trimming each step in my cross stitch project – Triple Play Pillows. I finished taking all my step by step photos last night so I will insert them into my instructions that I wrote out to be referenced by the next season I finish in the series. I am really looking forward to some Big Stitch quilting. I used to do it a lot when I was younger as I did not know how to do anything but.

Everyone have a great week! I wish you the best on all of your projects and thanks for stopping by!

    1. Thank you Linda. I got more done than I thought possible. Of course I have fallen back into my happy place – working on what feels right. For some reason I get so much more done!
