Floss Friday #124

I am exhausted from working on the Cross Stitch WIP parade. It sure felt real good. I didn’t have any new FFO for Cross Stitch in 2024 so that will definitely be a goal for 2025.

Meanwhile, let’s take a look at what I worked on this week.

I am taking a moment to make this special post for all my cross stitch WIPs at December 31, 2024. While I would love to do this with my quilty projects, with over a 100 WIPs that is just not possible for this year anyway. Maybe next year.

Wow! This will be my last post of 2024. It has been an eventful year with lots of projects and even some finishes. Check out my 2024 Finish page here. While I have not achieved everything I set my eyes on, I am pleased with how much really got done. This weekly post helps keep me on track and accountable to myself by putting it out there. To Do Tuesday #125

Happy Holidays to everyone! 2024 is quickly closing on us with just a week left. Been a quite week but had a lot of appointments. I never quite got into my sewing mojo this past week but I did the 15 minutes a day to help me over the hump.

Floss Friday #122

As with my quilting, I struggled to work on projects at Caitlin’s house. I was thinking since she now lives in a house instead of an apartment, that lighting would be better. Unfortunately for her, there is practically zero overhead lighting and I wasn’t prepared. Instead of stitching, I was doing.

I shared a lot of the things I did while in Vancouver and all the good food I had in my last post.

Floss Friday #119

Hope everyone had a great American Thanksgiving. I am still in food coma mode. How about you? It was great to spend some time with my sister and her family this year. So very nice. Food was fabulous as well as the company. Now I am ready to settle into the Christmas season with Christmas less than 4 weeks away. Ready. Set. GO!

So exciting that this week I finished two and started three. I was relieved that I was able to wrap up these small projects.

Election Day! Make sure you vote today. It’s a Presidential Election year! Can’t believe we are in November already. Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away. Crazy.

Welcome to this week’s edition of To Do Tuesday where I will be sharing what quilty things I worked on this week. Yesterday was a Quilt Zoom day with some of my friends. I picked up where I left off from the Lake Tahoe Quilt Retreat last month.

It sure has been nice to be home this week. I have been catching up on household chores and enjoying my sewing room. The weather has been perfect. Not too hot. Not too cool.

To Do Tuesday #104

Hello Everyone! I am back from the quilt retreat. Whew! What fun we had at beautiful Lake Tahoe, Nevada. There was 26 of us from all over the United States. The quilter who traveled the fartherest was from Wisconsin. Lots of quilting and games was had every day along with lots of food and wine.
