Rain. Rain. Rain. We are full on PNW winter now. We need the rain and the snow pack. I have not seen the sun often this past week, but it has peeked out 🌥️

It is here. ☔️. The rain has arrived here in the Pacific Northwest. We even had a little sleet yesterday. They said it would snow. I couldn’t see how that would happen. It is just not cold enough. The cool thing about the rain here is the sun often peeks out through out the day. 🌦️ So cool. I even seen the most amazing rainbows🌈
I plan to link up with Carol who is also in the Pacific Northwest just more North. Check out all the projects.

Hello Quilty Friends! Welcome back. This week started off with a bang and ended with a crash. LOL 🐿️. I got totally distracted with other crafty projects. Good news is I finished a few things on my artsy to do list as well as making some progress on my quilty to do list.
I will be linking up with Carol again this week for To Do Tuesday. Check it out!

Welcome back my stitchy friends! Been a busy week and I am looking forward to sharing what I have done for the week. Let’s get to it!
I had one start and one finish this week which was exciting.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #167”Hello my Stitchy Friends! Welcome back to this week’s update. We have a little more variety this week so it should be fun!
No new finishes this week but I do have one new start which I was excited to work on.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #166”Welcome back my Stitchy Friends! We have had lots of sunshine here in the Pacific Northwest. I am totally enjoying every moment. How about you? My evening stitching time has been abbreviated this week due to life. I missed one night altogether because I was finishing a book. 📖
I ended up with no new starts or finishes. Although I did spend a day going through all of my projects I had pulled for January to figure out what comes next. I have a total of 4 friendstitch projects from December. I have decided to start three of them this month. Two are quite small and can be finished fairly quickly. They may rollover to February.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #165”Hello my Quilty Friends! Welcome back. I had a good week in the sewing room. I made it up to the studio five of seven days which is a new record for me now that the studio is upstairs. I even had a Quilt Zoom day with my Quilty Friends.
I will be linking up for To Do Tuesday Link Up with Carol @ Quilt Schmilt. Take a look!
Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #166”We made it to 2026 my quilty friends! I hope you are enjoying the new year. We have had some interesting weather for this year already here in Vancouver, Washington. We have had rain, sunshine, sleet and in the mountains there was fresh powder then it rained. It all melted here. I am snug as a bug. The weather hasn’t bothered me at all.

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #165”Welcome back my quilty friends! Hard to believe Christmas is upon us. I am looking forward to spending time with my daughter. We have lived in different states for over 10 years. Now we are in the same town. I feel like I hardly see her because we are both living our best lives. LOL! Being so close now, we don’t make the time to spend with each other like we did when we lived 3500+ miles apart. I am sure you can relate as well.
I started a new thing since we lasted chatted. I have made a mindful decision to go UPSTAIRS to my sewing studio at least once a day for at least 15 minutes. I have also told myself, I don’t have to sew if I don’t want to but I NEED to visit the studio.
Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #163”Hi Everyone! How is your Christmas season coming along? My tree is up and partially decorated. Found one of two boxes of ornaments. I have put up festive decorations throughout the house. Love walking the neighborhood after dark. Very festive!
