Wow! This will be my last post of 2024. It has been an eventful year with lots of projects and even some finishes. Check out my 2024 Finish page here. While I have not achieved everything I set my eyes on, I am pleased with how much really got done. This weekly post helps keep me on track and accountable to myself by putting it out there. So let’s take a look at what I worked on this week.

Floss Friday #123
Hope Everyone had an awesome Christmas Holiday (and any other holiday you celebrate at this time of year.)
December 26th was a very rainy day to contrast with today where we have sunshine. The joy of being in California!
I seem to still being have some focus issues this week. I have been reading a whole bunch and being distracted from stitching or quilting. 📚 All is good, I am planning a New Year’s Stitch-A-Thon to work on any WIPS that are on my goals list but might have been slighted during the month of December. 🧑🎄

Happy Holidays to everyone! 2024 is quickly closing on us with just a week left. Been a quite week but had a lot of appointments. I never quite got into my sewing mojo this past week but I did the 15 minutes a day to help me over the hump.

As with my quilting, I struggled to work on projects at Caitlin’s house. I was thinking since she now lives in a house instead of an apartment, that lighting would be better. Unfortunately for her, there is practically zero overhead lighting and I wasn’t prepared. Instead of stitching, I was doing.
I shared a lot of the things I did while in Vancouver and all the good food I had in my last post.
There are lots of photos. If you don’t feel like reading, take a peek at the eye candy.

Whoo Hoo! I am finally back home. I love traveling as much as I love being home. For once, I actually slept better on the road then in my own bed. I wonder if that has anything to do with the mattress topper I had delivered to my daughters? 😝
I rolled up at my house Sunday night about 9:30 pm after spending the day driving from Vancouver, Washington to San Jose, California. I did a side trip in Salem, Oregon for a two hour shopping spree and a half hour lunch break when I filled up gas for less than $3/gallon. 🏆

I am still in Vancouver, Washington. We had a few sunny days but it will be raining for the rest of the week. Best day to head home is either today or Sunday. I opted for Sunday just so I could chat with you guys before heading home. LOL! 😂
Let’s get started.

Hello from Vancouver, Washington. Took a little side trip yesterday to Multanomah Falls, OR. It was a beautiful sunny day and the only one predicted this week so I took advantage. Did a little hike and some scenic driving including crossing the Bridge of the Gods which crosses the Columbia River between Oregon and Washington. Lovely day topped off by homemade Chicken Pot Pie.
What little I have to share, I will linkup with Carol at Quilt Schmilt for To Do Tuesday.

Hello Everyone from Vancouver, Washington. It was a foggy day as I drove in this afternoon but whenever there was a gap in the fog, we had sunny skies. I left sunny and bright San Jose with temps of 71F to be here with temps in the 40s. Now it feels like winter and the Christmas season.
Let’s take a look at what cross stitch projects I worked on this week as well as how November WIPGO wrapped up.

Welcome to December! Just 22 days until Christmas. For those of you working on handmade projects, good luck!
I have been getting ready for my upcoming to trip to Vancouver, Washington. It looks like the weather will be cooperative which is nice. Made a list of everything that I need to do before I go and the things I need to take for my daughter Caitlin. I haven’t seen her since July so I am looking forward to seeing her in person and spending a little mother-daughter time together while her fiancee is on a work trip.
I will be linking up with Carol at Quilt Schmilt for To Do Tuesday. Join us!
