Continue reading “Floss Friday #68”Welcome to November my stitchy friends! Crazy to think that 2023 is quickly coming to a close. I got hooked on a new book series and have been staring at my e-reader for hours on end. I might have missed a few stitching nights because of it. LOL!!

She also has an etsy shop with digital cross stitch planners and notebooks with her 2024 version to be released soon. You can follow this weekend with #24hoursofcrossstitch or #24hocs (my personal favorite since it is nice and short!). Be sure to post your projects starting October 20th and ending on October 22nd. You don’t need to do 24 hours straight but you can. Let’s go stitchers!

I had hoped to go for a hike today, but I am going to have to pass as it is way to hot for that. Instead I will end up going for a night walk when it cools off later. I am looking forward to it.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #59”Welcome to another edition of Floss Friday. Hard to believe it is already the last Friday of August and summer is coming to a close. Crazy to say the least. This is the first summer since 2020 that I didn’t travel. With all the travel with hockey, it was kind of nice to be home for an extended period with some day trips here and there.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #56”How is everyone’s August going? Here in San Jose the kids are back in school already. The colleges start up in another couple of weeks. I feel like there is so much summer left. Where did the days go when school didn’t start until after Labor Day.
Wow! 50 posts on cross stitch only. It has been a fun journey for sure. This upcoming weekend is WIPGO weekend where I will be working on my active WIPGO projects only.

Typically we get a heat wave sometime close to the Fourth of July. This week my AC unit stopped working and with the contractors at my house still working on the shower, I haven’t called a repair HVAC guy. If it is not one thing, it is another when you own a home. LOL!
