It feels like only yesterday that I was sharing what I have been up to this week on all my Cross Stitch projects. In reality, it has been a week! Whoa! What a busy week it has been. We are having unseasonably warm sunny weather here in Northern California. I am enjoying it while I can.
I thought I would recap my monthly cross stitch start and finish goals here. I normally try to keep this number down, but January got out of control. šæļøš¤Ŗ

Continue reading “2024 WIP Parade”Hope everyone had a great American Thanksgiving. I am still in food coma mode. How about you? It was great to spend some time with my sister and her family this year. So very nice. Food was fabulous as well as the company. Now I am ready to settle into the Christmas season with Christmas less than 4 weeks away. Ready. Set. GO!
So exciting that this week I finished two and started three. I was relieved that I was able to wrap up these small projects.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #119”Welcome to this weeks update on all the cross stitch projects I worked on this week. The atmospheric river is showing its teeth here in San Jose. We have been pretty lucky that we are just on the edge of the storm. Yesterday they were predicting 5 inches now it just 1 inch of rain. Thank you weather gods. On the other hand, weather like this makes me want to curl up with a good book.
LOL! Of course I have been doing that all week because I wasnāt feeling well. Since Monday I read two books already – Fourth Wing and Iron Flame. I couldnāt put them down. They are fantasy books. I like all kinds of genre but it has been a while since I literally couldnāt but the book down. I love reading and probably ready 4-5 books a week. Those are you average book sizes. While it is hard to tell how big these books are, I am guessing they are the 1000+ books. That could be an interesting blog. A weekly blog on what I am reading. No. No one would care about that. Plus I just read too much. Before these two, I finished up a 15 book series in about 2 weeks. That was ā¦ I am not sure what they call they genre. I think of it as military romance action books. Like I said, all genres.

No new finishes this week but I did get started on two more from the planned 9 starts for this month.
October is over! So hard to believe that 2024 is coming to an end. Itās been a good year for me. Hope it has been good for you too. I have a few ideas of things I will be working on in 2025 but havenāt really nailed it down. Check the end for my thoughts on 2025. Letās take a look at this past week.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #115”Last Friday of October already. Honestly this week has felt like the last week of October but I still have 7 more days of October! How exciting. The November WIPGO projects are out and we will take a peek. By default, that means we know the December projects as well. I have chosen not to go there. I am excited about winding down October and starting on November. Letās get started!
The goal each month is to work on the project at least five times or have a finish.
