Hello My Stitchy Friends. Welcome to this week’s update on my cross stitch projects. I appreciate you stopping by. While I did not stick to my plan, I had a good week. Let’s dive in.
No new finishes but I do have one start. I was definitely feeling festive.
Hello My Stitchy Friends. Sorry about missing a week. If you follow me, then you are aware I had an impromptu trip to California to wrap up family matters and to finalize my move from California to Washington. My shoulders feel so much lighter now that everything is done.
Unfortunately, the lighting was terrible in my hotel room where I was staying. Plus I messed up on my project and was unable to successfully unstitch. Finally decided it was not worthy destroying the fabric. Let’s get to it so you can see!
I would love to say I hit all of my WIPGO goals for November, but unfortunately, that would be a no. BUT I did good.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #160”Hope all my American friends had a great Thanksgiving yesterday. Mine was awesome. Good company. Good food. I did have a bit of a food coma afterwards. Rained most of the day but since I never had to leave the house, it didn’t bother me much. Hope all of you had a great holiday!
Overall, this was a good stitching week. I even finished one of my WIPGO goals for November. With just 3 days left, I hope to finish my second goal. Let’s take a look at this week’s projects.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #158”Wow! I got really hyper focused this week attempting to finish all of my Halloween WIPs. I normally would just work on night on something, but I really really wanted to wrap up these projects.
I considered doing this with my Fall WIPs. I don’t think I am close enough to finish any of them if I want to everything else on my list. Not sure if I will get my November goals posted as I still want to spend some time in the sewing studio today as well. So much to do and so little time (and I am retired!)
Continue reading “Floss Friday #156”Hello from Steaming Pacific Northwest. We are having another mini heat wave here with it supposed to reach 102F (39C). Lucky for us it is only for a couple of days with over 100, then it cools off for the rest of the week in the 90s. Oh yea!

While it will cool things down a little, we will still have plenty of humidity to keep us toasty. I am definitely looking forward to it! I am ready to share what I worked on this week with you. I only have one start this week and no finishes. But I did kit up one of my starts for next week. I am even considering having a “Start” Day just to work through my remaining starts. Let’s take a look at this week’s start.
Hello Everyone! It is so hard to believe we are halfway through July already. Times seems to be flying by doesn’t it? I hope your summer has been fun and productive at the same time. Remember to take time for yourself.
I am still feeling patriotic this week. While I did not work on both projects, I did make time for one of them. We will be checking that out soon, but first let’s visit new starts and finishes.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #146”Hello Everyone! It is going to be a hot one here in Vancouver, Washington. Totally California weather with it hitting upper 90’s (maybe) for the next 3-4 days. Update on the daughter and her husband, they left Thursday for their honeymoon at Yellowstone/Grand Teton National Parks. They were excited to be going. Caitlin has been before but that was back in 2001 so she doesn’t remember much. This will be Jannes first time! Original plans were for last year and I was going with them. Since I decided to move, I didn’t want to make a committment to going this year. Now I am glad they have a the next two weeks to themselves doing what they love.
