The week sure went fast with the quilt show last week. I still managed to get some stitching in despite all the chaos.

A few months back I discovered that Cathy from Hands on Design was doing a class in California. I am a big fan and I desperately needed to learn how to finish that stack of 100 completed stitches. After signing up for the class, I must have watched like 10 of her finishing videos and did do my first final finish which I shared in Floss Friday #16 (a pillow).

Continue reading “Floss Friday #15”Hi Everyone! I hope you had nice Labor Day Weekend. We were away at a hockey tournament in Southern California. It was unbearably hot at 115F. At first I was happy to be home until the heat wave continued on here with a high of 108F this week. Today so far we have a cool 95F. I am keeping my fingers crossed we are done with the heat wave. We have more wild fires when it is hot like this. We have been lucky here in California. We have only had a few wild fires so far in 2022.
