Hello my stitchy friends! It has been a wet and busy week. It was nice to find some time to stitch and unwind. I can not believe how fast February is flying by!

Continue reading “Floss Friday #170”Welcome back my Stitchy Friends! We have had lots of sunshine here in the Pacific Northwest. I am totally enjoying every moment. How about you? My evening stitching time has been abbreviated this week due to life. I missed one night altogether because I was finishing a book. 📖
I ended up with no new starts or finishes. Although I did spend a day going through all of my projects I had pulled for January to figure out what comes next. I have a total of 4 friendstitch projects from December. I have decided to start three of them this month. Two are quite small and can be finished fairly quickly. They may rollover to February.

The week went fairly well if a bit disorganized. 🤪 Not sure what is going on there. I have sketched out my plan for January, but haven’t found the time to organize it. Unfortunately, while I worked on EVERY project left, I did NOT make my goals. So I focused on my December WIPGO projects as that is the whole reason to have WIPGO projects. Total win there!

Continue reading “Floss Friday #158”Hello Everyone! I am finally home for a while. It feels so good to be home although I had a great time in NYC. If I find some time, I will do a travel post to cover everything I did in September & October. It has definitely been a very busy fall so far. I am looking forward to some extended time at home and to get back to my normal routine.
Unfortunately for all of you, this may be a bit longish. I will try and wrap up all of October since my post on October 3rd.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #155”It sure was a busy September. I was on the road a lot, so I missed quite a few Fridays. I had a great time at the Quilt Retreat at Zephyr Cove on Lake Tahoe. I shared a little more in the To Do Tuesday #156 post.
The latest trip took me to Redmond/Bend, Oregon for a long arm training with Gammill as well as a shop hop one day. Learned a lot and met a lot of great people. The teachers were fantastic! I can’t wait until next year to do it again when I have more experience with my retrofited Statler.
Hello from Steaming Pacific Northwest. We are having another mini heat wave here with it supposed to reach 102F (39C). Lucky for us it is only for a couple of days with over 100, then it cools off for the rest of the week in the 90s. Oh yea!
I have continued to diligently work my active wips for the month. Let me share my progress with you.

While it will cool things down a little, we will still have plenty of humidity to keep us toasty. I am definitely looking forward to it! I am ready to share what I worked on this week with you. I only have one start this week and no finishes. But I did kit up one of my starts for next week. I am even considering having a “Start” Day just to work through my remaining starts. Let’s take a look at this week’s start.
