To Do Tuesday #164

Welcome to the last To Do Tuesday post of 2025! I may have a special post either December 31st or January 1st for WIPs and/or goals. Still toying with that one. I have been working on hitting the sewing studio daily for at least 15 minutes. I think I did 4 out of 7 this week. My goal is to be physically present in the space. There is still plenty of unpacking and organizing to do as well as sewing and quilting. So not bad this week.

Floss Friday #122

As with my quilting, I struggled to work on projects at Caitlin’s house. I was thinking since she now lives in a house instead of an apartment, that lighting would be better. Unfortunately for her, there is practically zero overhead lighting and I wasn’t prepared. Instead of stitching, I was doing.

I shared a lot of the things I did while in Vancouver and all the good food I had in my last post.

FLOSS FRIDAY # 31

Hello Fellow Cross Stitchers. January has been a crazy month in my little month as I have been travelling with my grandson Shaun for hockey the first half of the month. Not a lot of quilting or stitching has happened in my world recently, but definitely more stitching then quilting just due to portability of the hobby.

Welcome to 2023! My first post of the new year. I missed To Do Tuesday this week because I didn’t do anything. Okay not much. So we are jumping into Floss Friday instead. We have a lot to cover since I participated in #NYE12x12 #TeamWIPs.

Well I started this blog 4 hours ago. LOL! I got totally distracted by my sister. Can’t believe we talked for so long. Interesting (as always) about leaving legacy behind for our kids – from a family cookbook, life story, and many other ideas. Which obviously talking about those who have passed and us not getting important information from those loved ones to pass on to the next generation and beyond.

Hi Everyone! This is Simba and I am writing this week’s blog because Mom is in the sewing studio. (She was busy with the holidays and is now getting some fun time in the sewing studio.) I asked her if it was okay (since we are co-bloggers) to write this week. She told me to give it a whirl. So here we go….

Floss Friday #28

Happy Holidays Everyone! Christmas is just two short days away and I finally got my Christmas tree up. I am so behind on all things Christmas. Tomorrow I am hosting Christmas Eve dinner. We went from 2 people to 6!! It looks like I will be headed to the grocery store tomorrow. I wish all of you a stress free holiday!

To Do Tuesday #33

The holidays are closing in fast. I got to listen to the Willow Glen High School Band and Choir Christmas Performance this week. It was fabulous. My grandson was in it; not that he wanted to be. Lol! He is 15 and has choir this year but hates ever moment. Wish he could loosen up and just enjoy it.

I had an unexpected turn this week on one of my 2020 Christmas projects. All will be revealed below. Meanwhile, I am enjoying all the stitchy fun of the holiday season. Fall and Winter are my favorite time to stitch!
