Welcome back to my cross stitch blog! I was distracted this week with other crafty projects that you can check out here but still a good week. We have continued to have pretty nice weather for a February in the PNW. Starting this weekend we will be falling back into the normal February weather patterns – rain. So enjoying the last of the sunshine ☀️

Continue reading “Floss Friday #169”Wow! I got really hyper focused this week attempting to finish all of my Halloween WIPs. I normally would just work on night on something, but I really really wanted to wrap up these projects.
I considered doing this with my Fall WIPs. I don’t think I am close enough to finish any of them if I want to everything else on my list. Not sure if I will get my November goals posted as I still want to spend some time in the sewing studio today as well. So much to do and so little time (and I am retired!)
Continue reading “Floss Friday #156”Happy Valentine’s Day! Hope all you lovebirds have a great day today. My brother-in-law and my grandson both brought me flowers for today as well as helping me with my storage unit. I loved the grand gesture from both of them!
As with my quilting, I struggled to work on projects at Caitlin’s house. I was thinking since she now lives in a house instead of an apartment, that lighting would be better. Unfortunately for her, there is practically zero overhead lighting and I wasn’t prepared. Instead of stitching, I was doing.
I shared a lot of the things I did while in Vancouver and all the good food I had in my last post.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #102”Happy Friday Everyone! We have a gorgeous bluebird day today with predictions of rain tomorrow. Don’t you love Spring? Sunny and warm one minute; cold and rainy the next.
I did not realize until I was checking my stitching calendar that I had one finish and one start.
Whew! Finding these photos was a chore. A few years ago I didn’t do a good job labelling my photos. I wanted to show how I have finished this Let’s Talk Series when I finished the framed chart in April. I look forward to finishing all of these! I love these colors!
Continue reading “Floss Friday #89”Happy Friday! After a blazing hot weekend, starting Tuesday we went from 80F to 65F. They are saying it should be a dry weekend though. I had heard on the news that we have not had back to back dry weekends since October. That seems so crazy when just a couple of years ago we were in a severe drought. I am thankful that this winter was wet but we were not drowned. Love living in Northern California.
Now to jump into sharing this last week’s stitchy projects I worked on.
I didn’t have any new starts this week but I did have two new finishes.

I had dinner with my daughter last night and breakfast with my brother this morning. Now I am hanging out at the local Starbucks writing this post. It is only drizzling but the weather makes me want to curl up in front of a fire and read. LOL!
