Last week and weekend the weather was very distracting getting up to the high 70’s here in San Jose, California. It was better to be outside than in.
With focusing on trying to wrap up my Christmas quilt, my applique projects have not gotten all the attention they deserve. I did a regroup a few weeks ago to see where I was at and what steps were needed for my current projects.

I have pulled a few projects that I would like to put together for Christmas and putting away all my Halloween projects. I will be sharing that with you.
I have been rotating which project I work on each time so now I am feeling more accomplished because I get a little done on each project. Currently I only have 4 active projects.

I had so many sewalongs going on that I fell behind and then I was feeling terrible about myself. When I realized I wasn’t having fun anymore, I dropped the idea of joining two more sewalongs starting at the end of September and beginning of October.

Coming to you from Denver today. On the road for hockey with my grandson Shaun. We are in day 2 of this tournament. We have played so very physical teams and hard teams. We managed to squeak out a win 3 out of 3 games. Playoffs start this afternoon so I thought I would squeeze in a quick post between games since I didn’t post anything on Wednesday. And that would be because Sunday the washer died and I ended up running around all over town to get a new washer and dryer by Wednesday so we could finish washing clothes for hockey.
