Happy Friday! Hope you had a great week. Mine has been pretty productive overall. My 24 Hours of Cross Stitch was great. I ended up stitching more than 24 hours. Friday was my new start day. Saturday was a Fall/Halloween stitch day which left Sunday as my everything else day. Let’s take a look.

Hi Everyone! This weekend is 24 Hours of Cross Stitching marathon hosted by Instagram’s @quirksandstitches. She also has an etsy shop with digital cross stitch planners and notebooks with her 2024 version to be released soon. You can follow this weekend with #24hoursofcrossstitch or #24hocs (my personal favorite since it is nice and short!). Be sure to post your projects starting October 20th and ending on October 22nd. Happy Friday! It is a gorgeous Fall day here in San Jose. It is 90F and sunny. I had hoped to go for a hike today, but I am going to have to pass as it is way to hot for that. Instead I will end up going for a night walk when it cools off later. I am looking forward to it.

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you have a fun long weekend. It is Labor Day here in the States. It is the last long weekend of the summer. My grandson is off to Las Vegas for a hockey tournament with his Mom and family. I am actually spending the weekend with my daughter in Monterey this weekend. She gets here tomorrow. Meantime, I have to do a final finish on one of her cross stitch projects that I will share her work with you next week.

Welcome to another edition of Floss Friday. Hard to believe it is already the last Friday of August and summer is coming to a close. Crazy to say the least. This is the first summer since 2020 that I didn’t travel. With all the travel with hockey, it was kind of nice to be home for an extended period with some day trips here and there.

How is everyone’s August going? Here in San Jose the kids are back in school already. The colleges start up in another couple of weeks. I feel like there is so much summer left. Where did the days go when school didn’t start until after Labor Day.
