Welcome Back! We are have one of the hottest weeks of the whole year. It has been over 95 (and most of the time 100) for the past 7 days. Crazy weather. My first week of my October Temperature cottage will be all one color since it is rare to be over 92F here in San Jose. My house is going to be pretty though!

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #114”The heat wave that started on Monday peaked on Wednesday but is still with us through the weeked. Welcome Autumn! I expect next week I will be complaining about being cold. 😝 Hopefully you all are enjoying your October. Can you believe it is here already!?
It has been a fairly productive and fun week. Yesterday I received happy mail from 123 Stitch so I spent the afternoon kitting up the next in two series I am working on: Santa’s House (Fabulous House Series) and Winter Baskets (Triple Play Pillows series). I finished so many projects in September that I had a pile of floss that had to inventoried and put away. It sure felt good to complete that task!

This week I was able to finish TWO projects! So exciting.
Hi Everyone! I am flabbergasted that we are already into the last week of September. It just seems like yesterday that it was August. We have another hot one here in San Jose. Probably out last 90F+ day here in the Bay.
I wasn’t feeling very quilty this week and barely got any time in the sewing studio until yesterday when I forced myself to spend the day. Amazing enough, I had no cat companions in the sewing room until late afternoon. It is amazing how much more you can get done without fur babies interfering.
Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #112”I had a great stitchy week. Worked on mastering Mark R-XP app. I am loving it when everything goes smoothly, but not so much when it doesn’t. LOL. Typical me. I have definitely had fun playing with this app. I was surprised how inspiring it is to know you only have 4 green stitches left or that you are 78% done. Very cool. Let’s take a look at what I worked on this past week and what I hope to work on this coming week.

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #111”Hello from Redding, California! It was over 100F yesterday when I got here. Today is expected to be cooler at 94F. LOL! I am looking forward to going to Lassen Volcanic National Park tomorrow. I went last fall but only had time to see half of what I wanted. The park is generally cooler than Redding because you are in the mountains. Can’t wait!

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #110”We are experiencing pleasant late summer early fall weather with temperatures around 80 for the next few days. A welcome reprieve from the 90+ temperatures earlier in the week. I am looking forward to fall. It is truly my favorite season of the year. Nice temperatures, beautiful weather, kids back in school. Just love it.
I have all these fall projects I want to start so I have made a push to try and finish all those projects close to being done.

I feel like I really got things done, but not quite what I originally planned 😂. Big surprise there. My assistant was VERY helpful this week keeping me focused and in one place.
Happy Friday! Today has been a good day so far. It is a bit cooler today than it has been in weeks. Not too hot. Not too cold. Just right! Sunny ☀️ and 78F here.
