Floss Friday #140

This is a special day. My daughter is getting married. I am thrilled to be gaining a son. They have been together for seven years. How time flies. I will share photos in my next post. So let’s get to this week’s cross stitch so I can get ready to go.

Starts & Finishes

Just one finish this week:

To Do Tuesday #142

With two quilt zoom days, I was hoping to have more to share with you. I only worked on foundation paper piecing on Friday. I meant to do some cutting over the weekend, but was distracted with other chores related to moving to a new home. LOL! Monday morning found me scrambling for things to do during my second quilt zoom day this week. A few that you will recognize and others that I worked on because they were unpacked.

I plan on linking up with Carole at Quilt Schmilt again this week for To Do Tuesday. Thanks Carole for hosting!! Come over and check out our small groups list of projects. Feel free to join in.

Floss Friday #139

Happy Friday! While the weather here in the PNW is more spring like this week, it still has been a great week. I even got in a 4 mile walk with blue skies! Let’s jump into all my cross stitch projects that I worked on this past week so I can get you caught up.

Starts & Finishes

I had one finish this week. I had planned a start but wasn’t in the mood to start a new project. I know! That is very Peggy unlike.

To Do Tuesday #141

Another week has flown by and I am happy to share that I was in the sewing studio several times this week. Still only working on one project as I am still unpacking and organizing my space. Yet, it feels good to be sewing again.

I will be linking up with Carole at Quilt Schmilt again this week for To Do Tuesday linkup. Check it out.

Floss Friday #137

While things are slow moving on the quilting front as I find and organize my 50 boxes of stuff, I have all of my active cross stitch WIPS with me. Now I haven’t been able to find my extra needles, my floss stasth, my fabric stash, or my inactive wips, kits, or patterns, that still leaves me with a lot to work with. Let’s take a look at what I worked on this week.

Starts & Finishes

I initially thought I had nothing to share for this category. I already forgot that last Friday I finished a project!

Floss Friday #136

Wow! First Stitchy post of April. This move has definitely knocked me off my creative crafty horse 🐎. At least I did get some stitching done before the move and just this week finally got settled enough to get going again. I have a few challenges since I haven’t unpacked the craft/sewing studio yet. Let’s get caught up!

Floss Friday #135

I am happy to be able to work on my cross stitch projects during this time of chaos called MOVING. LOL 😝 I have some things to share with you for this week as things are going very well. Not sure how April will go but March has been pretty darn good! Let’s take a look.

Starts & Finishes

I started my final project for March but haven’t finished anything new. I am close so next week I will share my final finish with you.

Floss Friday #134

Hello Everyone! Sorry about missing last week’s blog. Just had a bad week so this week will be a lot since I did stitch everyday this past two weeks. LOL! 😝 Still working on the move which will be the theme for the next month.

Starts & Finishes

I am excited that I have already started five of the six planned starts for this month and one of the two finishes for March. After a mediocre February, I am feeling good about March. Let’s take a look:

START: WIPGO Project: Hello Summer by It’s Sew Emma (FQS)

I got a great start on this WIPGO project for the month. I am already 1216 stitches into my 1500 stitch WIPGO goal. Feeling pleased as ice cream over this one. I have been looking forward to starting this Stitch Quarterly project from a year ago. I love the vibrant colors and it is a delight to work on. In just two nights I am already over half done with this project. Just love stitching on this navy aida.

Floss Friday #132

Happy Friday! It’s a good day. My daughter who works with USGS is still employed. The next four years, no matter what happens, will be a roller coaster since Donald Trump does not like scientist especially those who work with the environment or climate. But this platform is not a political one and I certainly don’t want to make it so. Just please make sure you get all the facts before you speak.

On to more fun things like all my stitchy projects for this week. Let’s get started!

To Do Tuesday #134

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a good week. Since my househunting trip I have been very distracted and totally lost my creative mojo. I still managed to work on a few things so I thought I would share the little I did this week.

I will be linking up with Carol at Quilt Schmilt for To Do Tuesday.
