Hello from Vancouver, Washington. Thanks for stopping by and checking out all my quilty projects. Didn’t work on as many things this week but still spent a few minutes each day working on something.

Welcome back! Yesterday was a Quilt Zoom day so I worked on my Dragonfruit BOM and can’t wait to share with you. Overall a fairly productive week working again in small increments on various projects.

Floss Friday #125

Hope all my stitchy friends are safe and sound from the winter storms and the wildfires. Crazy winter we are having. Everyone is safe and sound here in San Jose, California. Today feels like a spring day with the temperature at 67F. I am enjoying it while I can.

It’s been a great stitchy week and I am looking forward to sharing my progress with you. Still need to kit up my planned starts but otherwise, everything is great.

Floss Friday #124

I am exhausted from working on the Cross Stitch WIP parade. It sure felt real good. I didn’t have any new FFO for Cross Stitch in 2024 so that will definitely be a goal for 2025.

Wow! This will be my last post of 2024. It has been an eventful year with lots of projects and even some finishes. Check out my 2024 Finish page here. While I have not achieved everything I set my eyes on, I am pleased with how much really got done. This weekly post helps keep me on track and accountable to myself by putting it out there. Happy Holidays to everyone! 2024 is quickly closing on us with just a week left. Been a quite week but had a lot of appointments. I never quite got into my sewing mojo this past week but I did the 15 minutes a day to help me over the hump.

Floss Friday #122

As with my quilting, I struggled to work on projects at Caitlin’s house. I was thinking since she now lives in a house instead of an apartment, that lighting would be better. Unfortunately for her, there is practically zero overhead lighting and I wasn’t prepared. Instead of stitching, I was doing.

I shared a lot of the things I did while in Vancouver and all the good food I had in my last post.

To Do Tuesday #124

Whoo Hoo! I am finally back home. I love traveling as much as I love being home. For once, I actually slept better on the road then in my own bed. I wonder if that has anything to do with the mattress topper I had delivered to my daughters? 😝

I rolled up at my house Sunday night about 9:30 pm after spending the day driving from Vancouver, Washington to San Jose, California. I did a side trip in Salem, Oregon for a two hour shopping spree and a half hour lunch break when I filled up gas for less than $3/gallon. 🏆
