October is over! So hard to believe that 2024 is coming to an end. It’s been a good year for me. Hope it has been good for you too. I have a few ideas of things I will be working on in 2025 but haven’t really nailed it down. Check the end for my thoughts on 2025. Let’s take a look at this past week.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #115”Last Friday of October already. Honestly this week has felt like the last week of October but I still have 7 more days of October! How exciting. The November WIPGO projects are out and we will take a peek. By default, that means we know the December projects as well. I have chosen not to go there. I am excited about winding down October and starting on November. Let’s get started!
The goal each month is to work on the project at least five times or have a finish.

I have to write this post on Thursday because tomorrow is a Quilting Zoom Day and then I will be off to Monterey for the weekend. Things are going great and I am super happy with all my progress. Continue reading “Floss Friday #112”The heat wave that started on Monday peaked on Wednesday but is still with us through the weeked. Welcome Autumn! I expect next week I will be complaining about being cold. 😝 Hopefully you all are enjoying your October. Can you believe it is here already!?
It has been a fairly productive and fun week. Yesterday I received happy mail from 123 Stitch so I spent the afternoon kitting up the next in two series I am working on: Santa’s House (Fabulous House Series) and Winter Baskets (Triple Play Pillows series). I finished so many projects in September that I had a pile of floss that had to inventoried and put away. It sure felt good to complete that task!

This week I was able to finish TWO projects! So exciting.
I had a great stitchy week. Worked on mastering Mark R-XP app. I am loving it when everything goes smoothly, but not so much when it doesn’t. LOL. Typical me. I have definitely had fun playing with this app. I was surprised how inspiring it is to know you only have 4 green stitches left or that you are 78% done. Very cool. Let’s take a look at what I worked on this past week and what I hope to work on this coming week.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #109”Happy Friday! Hope you had a great week. Mine has been pretty productive overall. My 24 Hours of Cross Stitch was great. I ended up stitching more than 24 hours. Friday was my new start day. Saturday was a Fall/Halloween stitch day which left Sunday as my everything else day. Let’s take a look.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #63”Hi Everyone! Hope this finds you all busy working on your projects . As we talked about last week, it has been a busy week with cooking and quilting classes. Then walking the quilt show and attending another Hockey weekend. The bright side is my grandson’s team qualified for the regular season over the weekend so we get a by for the next hockey weekend at end of October. Yeah! I will spend it quilting!

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #24”The past two weeks have found me on the road more days than not. I am feeling a bit harried. This week won’t be any better because it is time for Pacific International Quilt Show here in the Bay Area. It starts tomorrow night and goes all the way until Sunday. I have classes both Thursday and Friday with my quilty friends which is always a lot of fun and games.
