I am thankful that it is not 100F like it was last year here in Vancouver, Washington. I am enjoying a quite day. The kids are camping and I am here at Starbucks working on this blog for you. Afterwards, I plan to go home and sit out on my patio to enjoy a good book? How about you?
Continue reading “Floss Friday #144”Hello Everyone! I have a few pictures to share from the Honeymooners who were in Grand Teton most of the week but migrated to Yellowstone yesterday. I thought I would share a few pictures with you. They have reported (and I have seen the pics) that they have seen a Black Bear with 2 cubs, a marmot, several different moose sitings, and of course bison. Jannes has never been to either park while Caitlin has been, she was only 6 when we were there last. So… it is an adventure for both of them on their honeymoon. So glad they are having a great time although 30 minutes drive to her house and then back again everyday is getting old. Enjoy these few photos.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #142”Hello Everyone! It is going to be a hot one here in Vancouver, Washington. Totally California weather with it hitting upper 90’s (maybe) for the next 3-4 days. Update on the daughter and her husband, they left Thursday for their honeymoon at Yellowstone/Grand Teton National Parks. They were excited to be going. Caitlin has been before but that was back in 2001 so she doesn’t remember much. This will be Jannes first time! Original plans were for last year and I was going with them. Since I decided to move, I didn’t want to make a committment to going this year. Now I am glad they have a the next two weeks to themselves doing what they love.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #135”Hello Everyone! Sorry about missing last week’s blog. Just had a bad week so this week will be a lot since I did stitch everyday this past two weeks. LOL! 😝 Still working on the move which will be the theme for the next month.
I am excited that I have already started five of the six planned starts for this month and one of the two finishes for March. After a mediocre February, I am feeling good about March. Let’s take a look:
I got a great start on this WIPGO project for the month. I am already 1216 stitches into my 1500 stitch WIPGO goal. Feeling pleased as ice cream over this one. I have been looking forward to starting this Stitch Quarterly project from a year ago. I love the vibrant colors and it is a delight to work on. In just two nights I am already over half done with this project. Just love stitching on this navy aida.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #131”Welcome Back Everyone! Weather update for Nor Cal – Raining. February is typically our wettest month of the year. It has been known to rain all 28 days of February. While that won’t be the case this year, we are getting enough rain to cause flooding north of San Francisco. I am not sure why anyone ever moves up there, because it happens every rainy season. I am sure it is gorgeous the rest of the year though. Enough about Nor Cal weather and lets check in on my stitchy projects for this past week.
