Hello Everyone from Vancouver, Washington. It was a foggy day as I drove in this afternoon but whenever there was a gap in the fog, we had sunny skies. I left sunny and bright San Jose with temps of 71F to be here with temps in the 40s. Now it feels like winter and the Christmas season.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #120”Hope everyone had a great American Thanksgiving. I am still in food coma mode. How about you? It was great to spend some time with my sister and her family this year. So very nice. Food was fabulous as well as the company. Now I am ready to settle into the Christmas season with Christmas less than 4 weeks away. Ready. Set. GO!
So exciting that this week I finished two and started three. I was relieved that I was able to wrap up these small projects.

I got everything I planned plus a little more this week with starting 3 projects and finishing 2!
Last Friday of October already. Honestly this week has felt like the last week of October but I still have 7 more days of October! How exciting. The November WIPGO projects are out and we will take a peek. By default, that means we know the December projects as well. I have chosen not to go there. I am excited about winding down October and starting on November. Let’s get started!
The goal each month is to work on the project at least five times or have a finish.

It has been a fairly productive and fun week. Yesterday I received happy mail from 123 Stitch so I spent the afternoon kitting up the next in two series I am working on: Santa’s House (Fabulous House Series) and Winter Baskets (Triple Play Pillows series). I finished so many projects in September that I had a pile of floss that had to inventoried and put away. It sure felt good to complete that task!

This week I was able to finish TWO projects! So exciting.
I had a great stitchy week. Worked on mastering Mark R-XP app. I am loving it when everything goes smoothly, but not so much when it doesn’t. LOL. Typical me. I have definitely had fun playing with this app. I was surprised how inspiring it is to know you only have 4 green stitches left or that you are 78% done. Very cool. Let’s take a look at what I worked on this past week and what I hope to work on this coming week.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #109”We are experiencing pleasant late summer early fall weather with temperatures around 80 for the next few days. A welcome reprieve from the 90+ temperatures earlier in the week. I am looking forward to fall. It is truly my favorite season of the year. Nice temperatures, beautiful weather, kids back in school. Just love it.
I have all these fall projects I want to start so I have made a push to try and finish all those projects close to being done.

Another week of fairly good weather. A little hazy from the wildfires north of me but otherwise nice. It started heating up again yesterday, but otherwise it has been a gorgeous summer week in Northern California. I am almost back in my normal routine after being gone for 3 weeks in July. I was thinking of going to Santa Barbara for a treat. If I do, I think it will be just for a couple of days.
