Quilting, Cross Stitch & Travel Adventures
It feels like only yesterday that I was sharing what I have been up to this week on all my Cross Stitch projects. In reality, it has been a week! Whoa! What a busy week it has been. We are having unseasonably warm sunny weather here in Northern California. I am enjoying it while I can.
I thought I would recap my monthly cross stitch start and finish goals here. I normally try to keep this number down, but January got out of control. šæļøš¤Ŗ
Continue reading “Floss Friday #126”Hope all my stitchy friends are safe and sound from the winter storms and the wildfires. Crazy winter we are having. Everyone is safe and sound here in San Jose, California. Today feels like a spring day with the temperature at 67F. I am enjoying it while I can.
Itās been a great stitchy week and I am looking forward to sharing my progress with you. Still need to kit up my planned starts but otherwise, everything is great.

December 26th was a very rainy day to contrast with today where we have sunshine. The joy of being in California!
I seem to still being have some focus issues this week. I have been reading a whole bunch and being distracted from stitching or quilting. š All is good, I am planning a New Yearās Stitch-A-Thon to work on any WIPS that are on my goals list but might have been slighted during the month of December. š§āš

I was thinking since she now lives in a house instead of an apartment, that lighting would be better. Unfortunately for her, there is practically zero overhead lighting and I wasnāt prepared. Instead of stitching, I was doing.
I shared a lot of the things I did while in Vancouver and all the good food I had in my last post.

I left sunny and bright San Jose with temps of 71F to be here with temps in the 40s. Now it feels like winter and the Christmas season.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #120”Hope everyone had a great American Thanksgiving. I am still in food coma mode. How about you? It was great to spend some time with my sister and her family this year. So very nice. Food was fabulous as well as the company. Now I am ready to settle into the Christmas season with Christmas less than 4 weeks away. Ready. Set. GO!
So exciting that this week I finished two and started three. I was relieved that I was able to wrap up these small projects.

October is over! So hard to believe that 2024 is coming to an end. Itās been a good year for me. Hope it has been good for you too. Continue reading “Floss Friday #115”Last Friday of October already. Honestly this week has felt like the last week of October but I still have 7 more days of October! How exciting. The November WIPGO projects are out and we will take a peek. By default, that means we know the December projects as well. I have chosen not to go there. I am excited about winding down October and starting on November. Letās get started!
The goal each month is to work on the project at least five times or have a finish.
