Floss Friday #61

Happy Friday! It is a gorgeous Fall day here in San Jose. It is 90F and sunny. I had hoped to go for a hike today, but I am going to have to pass as it is way to hot for that. Instead I will end up going for a night walk when it cools off later. I am looking forward to it.

Welcome to another weekend! Fall has visited us today with overcast clouds and prediction of rain. I am sure it won’t stay long. I just love fall.

It was a busy week with lots of quilting but I still managed to get some stitching time in as well. Let’s take a look.

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you have a fun long weekend. It is Labor Day here in the States. It is the last long weekend of the summer. My grandson is off to Las Vegas for a hockey tournament with his Mom and family. I am actually spending the weekend with my daughter in Monterey this weekend. She gets here tomorrow. Meantime, I have to do a final finish on one of her cross stitch projects that I will share her work with you next week.

Can you believe July is almost over? Just a few more weeks and the kids are bacck in school. How crazy is that? This week has been pretty normal summer day here in San Jose, California. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

Floss Friday #47

Whew! It’s been two weeks since I last checked in with everyone. A week of that was me off spending money in Reno on more quilting projects and supplies that I had not planned on buying! I went with my enabling buddies Mary Elizabeth, Toni, and Teri. We had a great time, shopped, ate, drank, and talked so much about everything under the sun. I am sure we solved all the world’s problems. LOL!

Obviously, I did take a project along and only actually worked on it the first night we were in Reno. I simply was too tired the other nights after being on my feet for hours. After getting home, I just sat in my chair and stared into space for a day or two. So not only did I not stitch much while on the road, I didn’t stitch much when I got back either. Despite all that I still managed to get stuff done. I have no idea how.

Wow! April has been a busy month. Somehow I was out of town every Friday of April and never posted anything since March in regards to my Cross Stitch which I post under Floss Fridays. I have a lot to share with you!

It has been a crazy couple of weeks. Last Friday I had my Quilting Zoom Call with my friends. I shared on Tuesday what I worked on. All of a sudden I found myself with no time to blog. So last Friday’s blog was a wee bit late getting posted.

Happy St Patrick’s Day! Hope this finds you with plenty of green beer and irish stew.

Just recovering from feeling not quite sick, but not quite myself. Just Blah! Today was my first day feeling even semi-normal. It must have been the chicken noodle soup and herbal tea that did. Well… Maybe the extra sleep too.

Hi Everyone! Welcome back to Floss Friday. This week was a little chaotic with my stitchy plans. I didn’t get as much time as I wanted in February to finish up some stuff. March just jumped out at me. Today is finally a sunny day after days of rain. It will kick in again next week so I intend on enjoying the sun while it is here!
