You may have recalled at the end of second quarter finishalong that I was close to many finishes but only one finish. Because of all that progress last quarter, it is the catalyst for all the finishes this quarter. Hmmm. Something to keep in mind when I get down on myself for not finishing anything, right? Hello Everyone! It is Hockey Wednesday which means I get some time to work on my blog. (Yea! for hockey)

I wrote a post last week, but Starbucks Google lost it somewhere in the dark web. Maybe some day it will reappear but I am just moving on baby.
It is once again Hockey Wednesday (after Hockey Monday, Hockey Tuesday….) It is off season but I feel like I have less sewing time then during season. I am guessing because during season I am prepared and plan better. Of course, attending 3 out of 4 home playoff games each round takes a lot of time too. I am not going to Game 7 of Round 2 because my grandson Shaun does have practice today. We are taping it but I don’t want to watch if we lose. That is just not fun.

Regular Hockey season is overall for youth and NHL. For NHL it is Playoffs and my Sharks are in but have lost 3 in a row. While working on the games I usually am working on my handwork projects. I also work on them (and my blog) while at Shaun’s (grandson) hockey practice. Spring hockey is now in full swing starting this week so I have my designated blog time on Hockey Wednesdays. (Yea!!!) Makes my work day a little short but hey, you do what you gotta do.

Linkup with Elm Streets one monthly goal and current project update
ONE MONTHLY GOAL
Last month I set a very big goal to finish my NYE quilt started in 2010. I did work on it but got derailed when I started the Alison Glass #trinketsal in March. With working on two different daily sewalongs, I do not see me having enough bandwidth to reset that as my April goal. So I am going to set that aside and work on my Charity Hexagon Quilt which has also been on my list for a couple of years and I have worked on it. I do not like my thread choice so totally derailed.

It is Hockey Wednesday and I find myself at my favorite blogging place – Starbucks! I’ve been on a good roll blogging the past few weeks so I certainly don’t want to break that trend. So I have been sitting here for the past 30 minutes flipping through my pics to see what I have done this week. Since last weekend was hockey weekend not much sewing and quilting really got done. Although, I am not disappointed in my progress. I spent most of the weekend working on my sewalongs and my March one monthly goal.
