Hello from Steaming Pacific Northwest. We are having another mini heat wave here with it supposed to reach 102F (39C). Lucky for us it is only for a couple of days with over 100, then it cools off for the rest of the week in the 90s. Oh yea!
I have continued to diligently work my active wips for the month. Let me share my progress with you.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #151”Hello from the Pacific Northwest. After weeks of heat, we finally have a storm coming in. While it will cool things down a little, we will still have plenty of humidity to keep us toasty. I am definitely looking forward to it! I am ready to share what I worked on this week with you. I hope you enjoy!
I only have one start this week and no finishes. But I did kit up one of my starts for next week. I am even considering having a “Start” Day just to work through my remaining starts. Let’s take a look at this week’s start.
Hello Everyone! It is so hard to believe we are halfway through July already. Times seems to be flying by doesn’t it? I hope your summer has been fun and productive at the same time. Remember to take time for yourself.
I am still feeling patriotic this week. While I did not work on both projects, I did make time for one of them. We will be checking that out soon, but first let’s visit new starts and finishes.
Continue reading “Floss Friday #146”Hello Everyone! It is going to be a hot one here in Vancouver, Washington. Totally California weather with it hitting upper 90’s (maybe) for the next 3-4 days. Update on the daughter and her husband, they left Thursday for their honeymoon at Yellowstone/Grand Teton National Parks. They were excited to be going. Caitlin has been before but that was back in 2001 so she doesn’t remember much. This will be Jannes first time! Original plans were for last year and I was going with them. Since I decided to move, I didn’t want to make a committment to going this year. Now I am glad they have a the next two weeks to themselves doing what they love.

Now I haven’t been able to find my extra needles, my floss stasth, my fabric stash, or my inactive wips, kits, or patterns, that still leaves me with a lot to work with. Let’s take a look at what I worked on this week.

I am excited that I have already started five of the six planned starts for this month and one of the two finishes for March. After a mediocre February, I am feeling good about March. Let’s take a look:
I got a great start on this WIPGO project for the month. I am already 1216 stitches into my 1500 stitch WIPGO goal. Feeling pleased as ice cream over this one. I have been looking forward to starting this Stitch Quarterly project from a year ago. I love the vibrant colors and it is a delight to work on. In just two nights I am already over half done with this project. Just love stitching on this navy aida.

Welcome to this week’s edition of cross stitch projects underway. This week is being cut short as I am actually writing this on Thursday because I have things to do tomorrow. LOL! We are having an unseasonably warm day here in Northern California with the temp at 68F. Just a few days ago the high was in the 40s. You have to love mother nature keeping us on our toes.
