Hi Everyone! How is your Christmas season coming along? My tree is up and partially decorated. Found one of two boxes of ornaments. I have put up festive decorations throughout the house. Love walking the neighborhood after dark. Very festive!

Oops! Had an unexpected trip last week. Left Tuesday for San Jose, California and got back home Sunday night. Accomplished what I needed but not everything I wanted. With the Thanksgiving holiday and the trip, I didn’t get any sewing done until yesterday.

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #161”Welcome back! First post of September and the fall. I am starting to gear up for my upcoming quilt retreat on Lake Tahoe. Last year was spectacular and I don’t expect anything less this year. I went in July last year and it was the hottest week of the year. The conference center doesn’t have AC because it is generally mild on the lake. So here is to hoping that this year will be falltacular!

Hello from Vancouver, Washington where it is freaking hot today! I didn’t move to the Pacific Northwest to be roasted to death. It has been over 98F for several days and I am looking forward to the predicted rain that should be here by Thursday. I would never have guessed I would be looking forward to rain 🌧️
With my studio on the second floor, it has been unbearable to be upstairs for extended periods of time in the sewing studio. I managed to work on a few blocks as well as start unpacking my fabric boxes. I have already unpacked 10 boxes. For someone who doesn’t like green, I sure have a lot. I am guessing it is becauses every collection comes with green and I tend to not use it. LOL! I elected to focus on sorting fabrics by color in the new studio and that is where I am at for now.

Welcome Back! We are now in the last week of July. Overall it has been hot here in the Pacific Northwest but not over the top except for a few days. I am definitely enjoying the gorgeous summer here in Washington. I am loving it!
