Happy Friday everyone! Hope you have a fun long weekend. It is Labor Day here in the States. It is the last long weekend of the summer. My grandson is off to Las Vegas for a hockey tournament with his Mom and family. I am actually spending the weekend with my daughter in Monterey this weekend. She gets here tomorrow. Meantime, I have to do a final finish on one of her cross stitch projects that I will share her work with you next week.

Welcome to another edition of Floss Friday. Hard to believe it is already the last Friday of August and summer is coming to a close. Crazy to say the least. This is the first summer since 2020 that I didn’t travel. With all the travel with hockey, it was kind of nice to be home for an extended period with some day trips here and there.

How is everyone’s August going? Here in San Jose the kids are back in school already. The colleges start up in another couple of weeks. I feel like there is so much summer left. Where did the days go when school didn’t start until after Labor Day.

Happy Friday everyone! We are currently in the midst of an0ther heatwave here in San Jose, California. I can’t complain too much. This heat didn’t start until July this year which has been a nice change. Also keeping my fingers crossed that the wild fires that we have had the past couple of years also hold off until regular wild fire season.
