To Do Tuesday #108

Hi Everyone!

This last week we had gorgeous Faux Fall weather and I loved every minute of it. Yesterday and today we are back to summer with today hitting a high of 91 so far. We haven’t even gotten to the hottest part of the day. While I prefer Fall weather, I am going to enjoy these final sparks of summer. We are feeling pretty lucky here in Northern California to only have a few wildfires so far this year. Our neighbors to the north (Washington and Oregon) are not so lucky. The air quality is very poor. Sending rain thoughts their way.

Floss Friday #105

Welcome to this week’s edition of all my stitchy projects. I have mixed feelings with the week. I feel like I really got things done, but not quite what I originally planned 😂. Big surprise there. My assistant was VERY helpful this week keeping me focused and in one place.

Happy Friday! Today has been a good day so far. It is a bit cooler today than it has been in weeks. Not too hot. Not too cold. Just right! Sunny ☀️ and 78F here.

Let’s take a look at this week’s projects that I did work on. Not as many as I had planned but I am pleased with the progress.

To Do Tuesday #106

Welcome to this week’s edition of To Do Tuesday where I will be sharing what quilty things I worked on this week. Yesterday was a Quilt Zoom day with some of my friends. I picked up where I left off from the Lake Tahoe Quilt Retreat last month.

Floss Friday #103

The writer describes a week of pleasant weather, their return to routine after a trip, and plans to visit Santa Barbara. They reflect on childhood beach birthday parties and recent erosion at Seacliff. The week included various cross-stitch projects, garden-fresh tomatoes from a neighbor, and a family birthday BBQ. Upcoming plans involve more stitching and group activities.

Another week of fairly good weather. A little hazy from the wildfires north of me but otherwise nice. It started heating up again yesterday, but otherwise it has been a gorgeous summer week in Northern California. I am almost back in my normal routine after being gone for 3 weeks in July. I was thinking of going to Santa Barbara for a treat. If I do, I think it will be just for a couple of days.

To Do Tuesday #105

It sure has been nice to be home this week. I have been catching up on household chores and enjoying my sewing room. The weather has been perfect. Not too hot. Not too cool.

Today my daughter turned 30! It just seems like yesterday when she came barreling into our life. She has always had a strong independent nature that has thankfully been channelled into a productive lifestyle. Happy Birthday Caitlin. I love you.

To Do Tuesday #104

Hello Everyone! I am back from the quilt retreat. Whew! What fun we had at beautiful Lake Tahoe, Nevada. There was 26 of us from all over the United States. The quilter who traveled the fartherest was from Wisconsin. Lots of quilting and games was had every day along with lots of food and wine.
