Still in catch up mode. This week we will take a sneak peek at my February projects so far. I participated in an instagram #stitchthewinterolympics which was fun if a little limiting. But sometimes you just have to change it up. That means a few projects I had intended on working on for the month have not even been started. With less than week left in February, I do want to get started on those projects. I will share next week with all of you.
Continue reading “Cross Stitch Diary: February 2022”How quickly the week has come to an end. I got my weeks mixed up. Last week had a holiday weekend with a Sister Day, but no Zoom Quilt Day. This week is the Zoom Quilt Day. (Can you see me rolling my eyes?) Even with the mix up, I tackled some big projects and made some nice progress.
Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #3”Welcome back friends! I have been catching all of you up on my quilting projects. I wanted to spend a little time on my cross stitch projects. So let’s get started!
I started the year with 14 projects in process, 36 new starts, and 35 finishes. So I ended the year with one more WIP to make it 15. It felt good to finish five projects in December alone including Autumn Spice, July Calendar Crate, October Sampler of the Month, Pine Needle Calendar, and September Truckin Along. I finished an average 3 projects per month during 2021.
Continue reading “Cross Stitch Diary: January 2022”I am happy to report that this past week was actually pretty productive despite the fact that we had a hockey weekend. Lucky for me it was a local tournament weekend. The only day that had no time to work on anything was Saturday. Check out the status from Feb 8th to Feb 14th list!
As part of my new year, I am starting the Weekly To Do list. I make this list for myself all the time so this is a way to share with all of you. I have tried to keep it doable.
Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #1”It’s been a while since I posted anything. The past summer found me on the road more than not. Once again, I had computer issues again so here we are more than six months later. I had to switch over to my laptop as Word Press is no longer working on my iPad which makes it a challenging process for sure.
During 2021 I retired and purchased myself a new long arm machine. It took forever to be delivered and when it was finally delivered, I ended up on the road for six weeks. I got home and I finally did my first quilt. Then Gammill changed the distribution and consumer channels so that means I had no one locally to get help from.

You may remember that I got a new long arm but there was something wrong with the computer unit (darn computers!) so I am still waiting for the part. I could have started using the long arm anyway but chose not to.
