Floss Friday #140

This is a special day. My daughter is getting married. I am thrilled to be gaining a son. They have been together for seven years. How time flies. I will share photos in my next post. So let’s get to this week’s cross stitch so I can get ready to go.

Starts & Finishes

Just one finish this week:

To Do Tuesday #142

With two quilt zoom days, I was hoping to have more to share with you. I only worked on foundation paper piecing on Friday. I meant to do some cutting over the weekend, but was distracted with other chores related to moving to a new home. LOL! Monday morning found me scrambling for things to do during my second quilt zoom day this week. A few that you will recognize and others that I worked on because they were unpacked.

I plan on linking up with Carole at Quilt Schmilt again this week for To Do Tuesday. Thanks Carole for hosting!! Come over and check out our small groups list of projects. Feel free to join in.

Floss Friday #139

Happy Friday! While the weather here in the PNW is more spring like this week, it still has been a great week. I even got in a 4 mile walk with blue skies! Let’s jump into all my cross stitch projects that I worked on this past week so I can get you caught up.

Starts & Finishes

I had one finish this week. I had planned a start but wasn’t in the mood to start a new project. I know! That is very Peggy unlike.

Another week has flown by and I am happy to share that I was in the sewing studio several times this week. Still only working on one project as I am still unpacking and organizing my space. Yet, it feels good to be sewing again.

I will be linking up with Carole at Quilt Schmilt again this week for To Do Tuesday linkup. Check it out.

Floss Friday #137

While things are slow moving on the quilting front as I find and organize my 50 boxes of stuff, I have all of my active cross stitch WIPS with me. Now I haven’t been able to find my extra needles, my floss stasth, my fabric stash, or my inactive wips, kits, or patterns, that still leaves me with a lot to work with. Let’s take a look at what I worked on this week.

Starts & Finishes

I initially thought I had nothing to share for this category. I already forgot that last Friday I finished a project!

To Do Tuesday #139

Welcome to this week’s edition of quilty things. Still moving in so not much happened until yesterday when I spent the afternoon in the sewing studio with my Covid kitties – Simba and Nala.

I will not be linking up with Carol this week because I didn’t really do any sewing this week, but please check out the linkup so you can see what others are doing!

Floss Friday #136

Wow! First Stitchy post of April. This move has definitely knocked me off my creative crafty horse 🐎. At least I did get some stitching done before the move and just this week finally got settled enough to get going again. I have a few challenges since I haven’t unpacked the craft/sewing studio yet. Let’s get caught up!

To Do Tuesday #138

Hello Everyone! I know it has been almost a month since I posted anything quilty. It has been a busy month. I finished packing up all my stuff and my cats and officially moved April 11th to Vancouver, Washington. I have not got to sew yet this month but this week I finally did some English Paper Piecing just because I needed it.
