Welcome back my Quilty Friends! Still totally enamored with the World Cup. Our Northern neighbor, Canada, did fantastic with advancement to Round of 16. I have on our Southern neighbor, Mexico, on while I work on this blog. So exciting. I wanted to get in a little more time on my projects this last day of June. I had a goal of finishing 10 blocks this month which I managed to do. Surprise!
Intentions to link up with Carol @ Quilt Schmilt again this week. Thanks Carol for continuing to provide this linkup. Be sure to check out the link if you want some inspiration.

WIP Updates
Did not get a lot of time on my Friday Zoom as I had competing to do’s. I really wanted to get my June WIPGO goal of 10 quilt blocks done. It has come done to the wire, but I managed to finish. I will show you this week’s body of work.
Autumn Quilt Seeds by Lori Holt (Bee in My Bonnet)

While I was not originally planning to make this block this month, I was on a roll and here we are with another fun block done! One to go.
Abby Rose Churn Dash Quilt

The pink block doesn’t have as much contrast as I would want. Too much white in my “dark” plaid fabric, but the orange one looks fantastic! There is only 2 left to make for this leaders and enders project. Then it will be time to work out a layout.
Queen of Diamonds by Pink Door Fabrics

The lighting sucks in this photo. The block is very pink but it doesn’t look very pink here. I am super pleased by the fact that I finished both Month 4 blocks this month. These are English Paper Pieced quilt blocks. This month went together smoothly. July will need to cut month 5 blocks. Love the secondary design from the fussy cut dragonflies. Fabulous! Pink Door’s instructions for this quilt includes how to line up templates to do the fussy cutting including getting your stripes straight. Love their instructions!

Pink Door Fabrics Super Nova EPP Project

Did not realize that my block of the month included backing. This is 108 wide from the Floral Reef Tula Pink collection. Gorgeous!
Musing

A Friend sent this to our quilt group. I couldn’t resist sharing this one with you.
If fabric is happiness, then I win! We were talking in last week’s zoom how over the years we collected fabric, patterns, and projects for retirement. Now that I am in retirement, I have no idea how I will ever finish everything. I probably have enough projects to last the next 400 years. (And you think I am kidding!)
If you like to give yourself a gift for Christmas, Pink Door Fabrics announced this year’s advent “calendar”. It looks totally fun. Go to https://www.pinkdoorfabrics.com/ They are taking preorders now.
Have a great week. Hope you found some inspiration. Thank you for stopping by.
