To Do Tuesday #49

How quickly time flies. This week felt like it was super long. Not sure if that is because I was productive or that my life feels in chaos with the contractors in and out on an unknown schedule. They are finally back today after finishing the preliminary work on the shower. Wednesday they are scheduled to start retiling the shower! Yea! Sharing a bathroom with a 15 year old teenage boy is not fun. Habits are … well let’s just say, I am use to cleaner sinks, etc.

To Do Tuesday #47

Hi Everyone! Hope your Mother’s Day was good. I spent it with my sister and brother-in-law. It was a great day with great food. I will be linking up with Carol again at Quilt Schmilt for this week’s To Do Tuesday linky party.

To Do Tuesday #44

Hi Everyone!

It has been a while since I have posted due to traveling most of the month. I visited my daughter in Seattle for a week and then the next week headed off to Chicago with my grandson for a hockey showcase. We got back Sunday night and I am still trying to get back in the groove.

To Do Tuesday #43

Boy was this week quick! I think I have too many things on my plate right now. LOL! Okay. You are right. I always have more things than I can do. This online class is taking the time slot I usually am quilting so I am definitely not getting as much time. That’s okay. In the long run, what I am learning will be applicable to so many of my hobbies.

To Do Tuesday #42

I was feeling a little under the weather a couple of weeks ago. Not actually sick, just not myself which lead to a lot of lazy days reading instead of quilting. But Monday found me back on track and ready to go! So last week ended up being fairly productive. I am splitting my time with my new online course Pattern Surface Design and quilting.

To Do Tuesday #41

The week just seemed to fly by. We had another atmospheric river storm that started today along with high winds. Thursday was a race ahead of the last storm to Southern California while Sunday was a beautiful day in So Cal, we drove into another storm here in San Jose. Lots and lots of rain this spring. The reservoirs I drove past were starting to hit capacity so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it helps with the drought we have been in.

To Do Tuesday #40

We have come storming into March here in San Jose, California. We are still having record temperature lows (for us) and storms are rolling in and out of the area every few days. I can only hope that the government is actually keeping the water unlike last time this happened. They let all the water out of the reservoirs due to the fear of flooding and we ended up being in a drought despite the fact we had record waterfall for the year. It has even hailed here multiple times. It is kind of cool to see us surrounded by snow topped hills. Snowfall was as low as 500 feet here. For those of you who are from places with real winters, you are probably laughing at me (I know I would). One of the reasons I love the Bay Area is the fact I get to drive to snow when I want it. I do not want it falling whenever it decides. LOL!

To Do Tuesday #39

Hello Everyone! It is the last day of February and March is around the corner. It is raining here. We need the rain here in California to fight the drought. It was cool to see our local hills covered in snow. Snow came down to 500 feet above sea level. We have had a rainy cold February. I am ready for it to move on.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Meandering Hearts quilting

Welcome back everyone! How many of you watched the Super Bowl on Sunday? Or was that a great time for you to disappear into your sewing room undisturbed. I am a sports fanatic so even though I am not big into football (especially when my 49ers were eliminated by the Eagles the prior week), I did have it on while I tootled around the house. It turned out to be a great week for me!
