Welcome to another weekend! Fall has visited us today with overcast clouds and prediction of rain. I am sure it won’t stay long. I just love fall.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #58”Happy Friday everyone! Hope you have a fun long weekend. It is Labor Day here in the States. It is the last long weekend of the summer. My grandson is off to Las Vegas for a hockey tournament with his Mom and family. I am actually spending the weekend with my daughter in Monterey this weekend. She gets here tomorrow. Meantime, I have to do a final finish on one of her cross stitch projects that I will share her work with you next week.

This is the first summer since 2020 that I didn’t travel. With all the travel with hockey, it was kind of nice to be home for an extended period with some day trips here and there.

This heat didn’t start until July this year which has been a nice change. Also keeping my fingers crossed that the wild fires that we have had the past couple of years also hold off until regular wild fire season.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #48”Welcome to another Friday. For June the weather is a bit cool here in San Jose, California but I will take it. Typically we get a heat wave sometime close to the Fourth of July. This week my AC unit stopped working and with the contractors at my house still working on the shower, I haven’t called a repair HVAC guy. If it is not one thing, it is another when you own a home. LOL!
