Happy Friday! It is a gorgeous Fall day here in San Jose. It is 90F and sunny. I had hoped to go for a hike today, but I am going to have to pass as it is way to hot for that. Instead I will end up going for a night walk when it cools off later. I am looking forward to it.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #61”How is everyone’s August going? Here in San Jose the kids are back in school already. The colleges start up in another couple of weeks. I feel like there is so much summer left. Where did the days go when school didn’t start until after Labor Day.
Hope everyone’s 4th of July was good. Our heat wave finally broke so it was all good here. I have been busy stitching away here. Honestly, I feel like the week just flew by. I can’t believe that it is already July 7th!

Typically we get a heat wave sometime close to the Fourth of July. This week my AC unit stopped working and with the contractors at my house still working on the shower, I haven’t called a repair HVAC guy. If it is not one thing, it is another when you own a home. LOL!

Just recovering from feeling not quite sick, but not quite myself. Just Blah! Today was my first day feeling even semi-normal. It must have been the chicken noodle soup and herbal tea that did. Well… Maybe the extra sleep too.

I participated in an instagram #stitchthewinterolympics which was fun if a little limiting. But sometimes you just have to change it up. That means a few projects I had intended on working on for the month have not even been started. With less than week left in February, I do want to get started on those projects.
