What Got Done!

Not as much as I imagined. LOL! We were on the road for a hockey weekend Labor Day Weekend. While I worked diligently on my Lost and Found EPP quilt block, I did not finish. When I got home the week just flew by and before I knew it my sister was here visiting. While I love to see her, the visit is about the company, not working on stuff. Then I didn’t feel 100% for the rest of the weekend. Even today I am still tired and unmotivated. But, I did finish these two things:

  1. Row 3 of my White Hawaiian Rainbow Charm quilt. I am very pleased with how this is turning out. See the Cover photo.
  2. I found the fabric to make the binding for the Rose quilt so I can get to it to finish the binding.
  3. I started and finished a project not on the list – I was able to get a final finish (my first) with Hey Pumpkin! from Fat Quarter Shop. I have known how I was going to finish, but the math took a little work. Not bad at all for my first finish working out of my stash. I will be posting a photo with my next Floss Friday. So drop back by to see it.

Otherwise, not much done.

  1. Peggy you have such beautiful projects! I love looking at all of them. I really like your churn dash blocks, and your White Hawaiian Rainbow Charm quilt is so pretty!
I just read your fascinating”About Me” – you were so lucky to get to sew with your Grandma. Your grandparents were “Ruby and Walter”, and my Mom’s name was Ruby, and although my Dad went by his middle name, his first name was Walter.
Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog. As is the case with others, your comments have no return email for me to thank you, but at least your name shows! The blog comment situation is really weird right now.
Thank you for sharing with us at To Do Tuesday!
