Floss Friday #73

How is your January going? We have had a lot of rain here in San Jose, California but today is absolutely beautiful and sunny. Makes me think about going to see the elephant seals at Ano Nuevo. We will see how the next few days play out.

I have spent more time quilting then stitching this week so I don’t have as much to share. Yet, I feel pretty good about what I have gotten done.

Ringing in 2024! Woohoo! We made it through another year. Earlier this week I shared my quilty goals. Today I will be sharing my stitchy goals. I am still in planning mode (and loving it).

Starts & Finishes

To ring out 2023, I had a finish and to ring in 2024, I had two starts. Let’s take a look.

Floss Friday #71

Just a few days left in 2023. Can you believe it?! The year has flown by and I am wondering how that happened. Yesterday was a planning day with my sister Dorothy. Ya’ll all know how much I love to plan!

This week has been with my grandson’s hockey tournament. It was nice it was local. They play in the Championship game tomorrow..🤞

Floss Friday #67

I had myself a mini marathon this past holiday weekend to work on all the projects I had not worked on. I only meant to work on those for the whole weekend, but couldn’t resist working on my fall projects. I had already put away Fall Harvest (see last week’s blog here to look at) and Autumn Beauties which somehow I haven’t worked on since October.

The good news is that they are the only two WIPs for fall being put on hold and next year I get to start new ones!

Floss Friday #63

Happy Friday! Hope you had a great week. Mine has been pretty productive overall. My 24 Hours of Cross Stitch was great. I ended up stitching more than 24 hours. Friday was my new start day. Saturday was a Fall/Halloween stitch day which left Sunday as my everything else day. Let’s take a look.

Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend last weekend. I had a very nice long weekend with my daughter and her boyfriend Jannes and have made plans for Christmas in Whistler, BC. Looking forward to it!

Floss Friday #57

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you have a fun long weekend. It is Labor Day here in the States. It is the last long weekend of the summer. My grandson is off to Las Vegas for a hockey tournament with his Mom and family. I am actually spending the weekend with my daughter in Monterey this weekend. She gets here tomorrow. Meantime, I have to do a final finish on one of her cross stitch projects that I will share her work with you next week.

Can you believe July is almost over? Just a few more weeks and the kids are bacck in school. How crazy is that? This week has been pretty normal summer day here in San Jose, California. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
