Hello everyone! Today I will share with you all the things I worked on the past week as well as what I hope to work on this week. I recently have been working on cleaning up my WIP list of 102 projects. A few got checked off this week.

Welcome to this week’s edition of To Do Tuesday where I will be sharing what quilty things I worked on this week. Yesterday was a Quilt Zoom day with some of my friends. I picked up where I left off from the Lake Tahoe Quilt Retreat last month.

It sure has been nice to be home this week. I have been catching up on household chores and enjoying my sewing room. The weather has been perfect. Not too hot. Not too cool.

To Do Tuesday #101

Hello Everyone! Hope all of you who are on the West Coast are surviving this Heat Wave. It has been following me around everywhere I go. I am currently in Vancouver, Washington and it is suppose to top out at 100F today. It will start cooling off here. Unfortunately, I will be heading home tomorrow to San Jose, where the heatwave is in its second wave. Beating the heat has been a challenge.

Hello Everyone! Today is the beginning of a predicted week long heat wave 🥵 so I am currently in my local Starbucks staying cool watching the blue sky slowly become hazy with the heat. I am thankful that I actually have AC which was not the case before this house. #thankful

We had a gorgeous Memorial Day Weekend where we remembered our veterans ~ those who lost their lives here and abroad in defense of this great country we live in. Thank you for your service. I appreciate my freedom with every breath I take. You are remembered!

To Do Tuesday #95

Hi Everyone! We are having a beautiful spring day here in San Jose. It is the high 70’s here and so pleasant with a blue sky. I am enjoying every minute of it. I visited my sister Dorothy in Modesto, California which can be very hot, but instead it was a beautiful day which we spent most of in her backyard. I loved the visit.

Can you say road trip?! I got back last night from a road trip to Paso Robles, California. Such a fun area. I enjoyed every moment.

It was super fun to hang with old colleagues as we celebrated the life of Spencer Keiser another friend and colleague.

To Do Tuesday #82

It is time for this weeks update on my quilty projects. Here in San Jose we survived a very vicious storm. It has been two days since it passed through San Jose and people are still without power. I feel fortunate that I never lost power. Yesterday I drove through town what should have been a 15 minute drive that took me an hour due to lights out, streets blocked by down power lines and trees, and of course, crews trying to clean up the storm damage. I am counting my blessings and am glad that everyone is safe.
