Love all those yellows, golds, oranges, and reds. So fun! The neighborhood is slowly being fully decorated for Halloween. 👻 My neighbors can be so inventive. I have really been enjoying my daily walks.
Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #115”Welcome Back! We are have one of the hottest weeks of the whole year. It has been over 95 (and most of the time 100) for the past 7 days. Crazy weather. My first week of my October Temperature cottage will be all one color since it is rare to be over 92F here in San Jose. My house is going to be pretty though!

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #113”Hi Everyone! I am flabbergasted that we are already into the last week of September. It just seems like yesterday that it was August. We have another hot one here in San Jose. Probably out last 90F+ day here in the Bay.
I wasn’t feeling very quilty this week and barely got any time in the sewing studio until yesterday when I forced myself to spend the day. Amazing enough, I had no cat companions in the sewing room until late afternoon. It is amazing how much more you can get done without fur babies interfering.

This last week we had gorgeous Faux Fall weather and I loved every minute of it. Yesterday and today we are back to summer with today hitting a high of 91 so far. We haven’t even gotten to the hottest part of the day. While I prefer Fall weather, I am going to enjoy these final sparks of summer. We are feeling pretty lucky here in Northern California to only have a few wildfires so far this year. Our neighbors to the north (Washington and Oregon) are not so lucky. The air quality is very poor. Sending rain thoughts their way.

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #100”Hi Everyone! We are having a beautiful spring day here in San Jose. It is the high 70’s here and so pleasant with a blue sky. I am enjoying every minute of it. I visited my sister Dorothy in Modesto, California which can be very hot, but instead it was a beautiful day which we spent most of in her backyard. I loved the visit.
