Hello Stitchy Friends! The quilt retreat has gone well and today is a travel day back home. So hopefully, I can finish this post tonight, if not then Saturday. 🙈. With so much quilting, cross stitch time was pretty limited. Let me share what I did do this week.

WIP Updates
Once again I focused on my WIPGO projects as I haven’t reached my goals for this month while I was in Tahoe. Unfortunately, I lost time on travel days and there was only a hour or so each night to work on my projects. Let’s take a look!
SEP WIPGO #24: Home Grown by It’s Sew Emma (FQS)
I was able to put a few hunderd stitches a couple nights in a row. I decided to focus on working on the outline of the main leaves. This one is getting closer to being finished. I like the idea of the letter “O” being a sunflower.
SEP WIPGO #25: November Calendar Crates by Stitching with the Housewives
I had hoped to get a couple nights in on this project but only ended up with one. I was able to finish the yellow for the checkerboard on the sign as well as “farm fresh”. It seems to be coming along nicely.
Snowman Collector: The Scarecrow by Cottage Garden Samplings
I hit my goal of 400 stitches for The Scarecrow. I continued working on the wheat. I am starting to get a little inpatient to work on the actual snowman. Next month, I think I will just jump in I think.
Plans & Reflections
This month has been very short on cross stitch days which is not really surprising when I have been travelling a lot. Thankfully I will be here for the whole week this week. I need to catch up on house chores as well as personal to do list. That should leave me some time to quilt and stitch this week 🤞🏼
